The veiw from the romance suite the dinner back down to the lil exercise u get from the stairs
1 proble i had the slide door fromnour bacony fell out of place on me i was slightly injured my hand from catching it
Nothing
Staff rudeness, broken dated and unclean equipment and facilities , the most basic of breakfasts, inadequate mosquito nets and aircon, attempt to overcharge for taxis and bill at end
Gorgeous location, beautiful resort with an extremely friendly staff. Food and drinks were delicious and the spa was absolutely heavenly with an incredible review. Incredibly comfortable beds as well as amenitized rooms. Also Soufrière is an incredible location with a ton of activities nearby. Could not recommend more as the resort was also very fairly priced for St Lucia.
Beautiful view and great service. The room was beautiful and the view of the Piton was unparalleled. Everyone was very kind.
We are big island travelers, but this was our first visit to stunning St. Lucia. This is a very special place-as travelers who seek out unique experiences, the Green Fig was one of them. It is not a cookie cutter hotel. Honestly, such beautiful views and you are up top with a jungle experience with sunsets every night. It is magical. The property is really gorgeous in the most natural way.
A couple of things to note:
TONS of stairs to get everywhere, so if you are not so fit, it may not be your spot. Tricky to walk at night. But so easy to walk to town. We walked 7 minutes (but there is a free shuttle service for those who need it) and the small city beach below. We mostly used some friendly locals to water taxi us to the amazing Sugar Bay Beach and Anse Mamin beach as the local Hummingbird beach is a bit small and not nearly as nice.
A big disapointment: The staff is not the most friendly, especially the lady server at the restaurant at dinner service and the lady at the front desk. Ouch. I have never experienced such anti hospitality behaviors. Not four star or even three star service. A good tip-we found it way more pleasant to make our own reservations in town and found local taxis services that were super happy to help us and took great care of us all week as the Green Fig staff did not care to do so.
The Bar staff, Onion and team, were very lovely and warm! We highly enjoy you hang out with them. The General Manager also very kind.
A big plus, the staff at Green Fig really cleaned your room each day nicely, and gave us new water bottles and towels each day. This was awesome as the grocery store is a bit of a walk into town. The continental breakfast each morning was pleasant.
The pools are more plunge pools, just to note, but enjoyable. We had a great time. Overall the stay was good, but the service not to par.
Honeymoon of a lifetime! We stayed at Green Fig Resort and Spa for our honeymoon, and it was an absolute dream. The island was gorgeous, and the resort is located on a beautiful mountain side, with breathtaking views. We stayed in the honeymoon suite which was decorated with fresh flower petals and "towel" swans decorated with island flowers and palms. The suite featured a private balcony with the full view of the small town, ocean and piton mountain. The resort was very well taken care of and very clean inside and out. The restaurant at the top of the resort has stunning views of the Soufriere town along the beach, the resort has the infinity pool just below the outdoor dining area with easy access to the bar and endless relaxation.
Service was exceptional! From the dining and bar staff to the housekeeping staff and the front service desk ladies, it was a real pleasure to stay with these amazing and friendly people!
The resort also allows you to book excursions directly through them, so you just tell them which excursion or adventure you would like to do, the date/time you would like, and they will set up the rest including transportation! It made our trip just that much easier and enjoyable knowing we didn't have to go through the hassle of researching companies, excursions and transportation.
We highly recommend visiting St. Lucia and staying at the beautiful Green Fig Resort! We had the trip of a lifetime and have made new friends with the locals while we were there. 10/10!
Such a quaint hotel! Sweet staff!
Only issue is the chickens in the morning😂
I don’t know how this place received the 4 * rating in its current condition.
The parking lot/entrance is littered with trash. There is no signage. Very unappealing upon first sight.
City noise is awful!! Loud music, barking dogs, motorcycles… all day and night. Impossible to sit in veranda and enjoy view.
Also felt the railing on our patio was unsafe … very wobbly.
Our room was above the restaurant and pool. Again loud until 1am ! And then bright and early clanking dishes that morning.
We complained to receptionist upon our arrival … tepid response. We informed her we would be leaving after 1 night.
No manager reached out to speak with us.
We left and found Tet Rouge ! Highly recommend!! 5 stars!!
Without a doubt we stayed at the BEST resort on the island for our 25th anniversary celebration and we’ve been to many. This was our first stay on the island of Saint Lucia and this quaint spot is situated right in the heart of the island’s outdoor activities. We aren’t big on sitting around at a pool all day but you absolutely could here because the views are spectacular! Instead we generally enjoy exploring and experiencing an island and its culture. This was exactly the place to be!
We were able to get around to hike the Pitons, drive deep into the jungle to search for remote waterfalls, enjoy the sulfur springs and the mud bath experience, spend an afternoon making chocolate, snorkel and dive on the pristine beaches of Anse Chastanet & enjoy some of the best views at nearby restaurants for romantic dinners without the hassle of a 2 hour commute each way from the north side of the island.
Aside from the ideal location of this resort, the amenities and the people here are what made our vacation beyond memorable. The staff was always available for any needs and unbelievably helpful and friendly. The breakfast included was delicious, drinks were always flowing and dinner was spectacular, using fresh fish caught by one of their regular guests who happened to be there while we were. We were also lucky enough to meet one of the owners, Lance, as well as the GM, Michael, and the restaurant manager, Dean. The warm feeling of this small boutique resort…they couldn’t do it any better and we can’t wait to return! Thanks Green Fig- we will recommend you over and over again to anyone looking for an intimate experience in the perfect location!
First of all the views are amazing. We had so much fun staying here. We felt very welcomed and very safe. The rooms were clean and the soap products very lovely. We stayed at the bottom room and laughed everytime we walked up and down the stairs (154 steps) it took for us to get from our room to the restaurant. The fresh made jucie was a morning favorite. We enjoyed the atmosphere and friendly staff. I will definitely note to be prepared to get a workout because it is like hiking everytime you go anywhere. If you are not stable on your feet I recommend getting the rooms closer to the top :)
I loved the natural setting, it can be a lot of stairs depending on where your room is. The restaurant, bar and pools are great to relax and enjoy the beautiful views of Soufriere and the Petit Piton. We would definitely come back to this place.
Lovely staff, beautiful views and our room was really nice. Food at the restaurant was great!
Lots of steps!
Our family of four recently spent a week in St. Lucia based out of the Green Fig Resort & Spa. We loved every aspect of our time here. We booked the Slik Suite, with two rooms and an incredible view. We did not purchase the food and board package, but would recommend future guests do this. Our intent was to go out every evening in town, and while we did this occasionally, in the end the days were so full that we simply wished to stay at the Green Fig to relax, enjoy the sunsets and the evening music. The staff, from the front desk, restaurant, housekeeping to groundskeepers were stellar—we felt truly cared for. We all enjoyed spa treatments. The practitioners were skilled in their trade. We were only sorry that we didn't get our treatments sooner so we could enjoy more. This is truly a fabulous option for exploring the Southern part of the island if you are looking to avoid the big resort feel in favour of a independently owned boutique experience.
I absolutely enjoyed every minute of my short stay at Green Fig Resort. Although I spent just one night, it was exceptional and customer service was absutely amazing.
