The view was stunning. Perfect location
Great location with excellent view and close to all local sights.
Dinner menu was quite limited. Continental breakfast menu was quite basic. Quite a few steps to get around the resort so may be an issue if mobility is an issue.
Imagine majestic sunset views, gorgeous views of the hypnotizing blue- green waters of the Caribbean Sea, lush green vegetation and the most hospitable/accommodating staff on the planet. Green Fig Resort offers all of this. However, it also has a massive amounts of steps to traverse (30-40) as you come and go, go to breakfast, go to dinner, etc....it's exhausting. Would recommend to anyone looking for a really unique experience and/or a daily intensive cardio workout on steps. Loved, loved, loved our Petit Piton Suite King Suite w/Balcony accommodations and the entire staff!
Staff and room view excellent
Not that I did not like it but steep climbs up stairs everyday was a great workout
The staff were friendly and helpful, the view from room was amazing, the food was good most of the time and very good at times, good wine selection, very clean and spacious rooms.
The windows are not soundproof so loud music and barking is easily heard, also everything requires a taxi for beach days.
The only great part about this place was the view! The food was subpar, the hiking to everything was extreme, the value of the room was not as expected. It stayed a solid 76 degrees in the room, the spa was not available due to short staffing, and the breakfast that is included in the stay is not very good. I think i’ve had better breakfast at a Days Inn to say the least. All together, the only reason we stayed was because of the incredible view, that’s definitely what keeps this place in business!
Its was ok nothing extra , not really wow factor
The complimentary breakfast needs to be more inviting ot looks borec .uù
Beautiful views
Tough climb from town back to hotel. Steps.
Continental breakfast very average, would be so easy to improve.
Quaint, small, friendly. Room was beautiful with great views
Somewhat worn…could use some fine tuning, replacement of “tired” outdoor furniture
Very steep hillside steps and uneven but that seems to be everywhere on the island.
The location was wonderful. Rooms and service fantastic. Special thank you to all the staff who were immensely helpful including Kelsey, Cornell and Kinion.
Truly an exceptional experience from start to finish — the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, the views were simply dreamy, and every meal was delicious. The attention to detail in every aspect of the property did not go unnoticed. We stayed in a family suite, and without a doubt, this was the best experience we’ve had in all our Caribbean travels. We are already making plans to come back next year ❤️
From our first greeting with a rum punch and friendly hello, right to the day we (sadly) had to leave, our experience at Green Fig was outstanding! This facility is nothing like those huge hotel complexes, it seems so intimate yet it has what you want…..a great outdoor bar and restaurant, a number of pools, stunning views of Petit Piton and Soufriere Bay with gorgeous sunsets every night. It’s listed as having 49 rooms, but they are all spread out over a half dozen or more buildings spread out over 3-4 levels. A huge shout out to Rocana, Nisha and Tricia who we had many conversations with. The front desk staff are super helpful with recommendations, arranging taxi rides to everywhere we went near and far. You should definitely have staff book your taxis, they have a great team of drivers and you feel safe and comfortable with them all….more shout outs to Ravi, Jarvis, Matthew, Tyree, Erland and Daniel ! Free shuttle taxis to downtown (3 minute drive) was a great bonus. The food is well prepared, creative and most importantly very yummy. If you want to find a quirky, laid back place to stay that isn’t jammed with guests, its Green Fig all the way!
This hotel feels unique. It's built basically into the side of a hill and has an old mango tree that grows up through the restaurant deck. It's quite... special! This results in spectacular views from almost anywhere in the hotel (and a fair amount of steps).
I visited with my friend in January 2026. It may sound strange given I was with a friend, bit we stayed in the romance suite, made practical by the huge and very comfortable king sized bed. We had a beautiful bathroom, a large balcony and little private 'plunge' pool right outside our door. The room was cleaned and made up every day and the tea and coffee stocked up. There was also a small fridge which was welcome in the heat and humidity of the Carribean as was the highly efficient air con.
There are a number of pools around the hotel which make it possible to find both company and privacy depending on your preference. All are clean and well maintained.
All the staff we encountered during our stay were friendly, helpful and polite. Two things especially stood out for me service wise:-
The first was Chef Roy. I am vegetarian and the menu looked, at first glance, very limited for me. However, Chef Roy went out of his way to create me a new dish every day which was very much appreciated.
The second was the excursion booking team. There are a number of excursions operated by the hotel. However, having climbed Gros Piton and spent our entire stay gazing at Petit Piton I really wanted to climb Petit Piton even though it wasn't an offered excursion. Both transport and a guide were arranged for me with no fuss at all which made me very happy. (If you're an active person I highly recommend both climbs).
In short, I would love to come back to Green Fig and I highly recommend it.
I’ll preface this by saying that as a travel blogger, I did a lot of research on hotels for our stay in Soufriere. I’m a big fan of boutique hotels and resorts, especially those that are unique and truly reflect the destination.
On paper ( and photos) Green Fig Resort & Spa certainly ticked all my boxes and I was very excited to experience what appeared to be the rustic elegance of the hotel.
There are many positives to share and also some room for improvement ( in my mind). The tree house concept of Green Fig totally fits the stunning location situated high above Soufriere. You are perched along the cliffside with a spectacular view of Petit Piton and the Caribbean Sea.
All the staff we encountered were lovely and we were always greeted with warm smiles. Special shoutouts to the restaurant servers and especially our man, Onion at the bar! He kept our glasses full and our stomachs aching from all the fun and laughter. This talented guy has a real gift with people and he was a highlight of our trip.
We ate several meals at the restaurant and all were quite good. We particularly enjoyed the chicken roti & fish tacos on the lunch menu and the creole chicken and veggie spring rolls on the dinner menu. The continental breakfast included with our room rate was ok, plenty of options but it would be nice to see maybe some fresh jams rather than packets of Smuckers grape jelly and Jiffy peanut butter.
We booked a Bali King Suite and it was very spacious and pretty comfortably furnished. The king bed appeared new and was comfortable. The views from the floor to ceiling windows literally took my breath away. The bathroom was spacious and the shower adequate. Now here’s where things fell a bit short for me. The lighting in the bathroom could use improvement and the overall condition of the building itself was rather run down and/or not properly constructed. There are exposed junction boxes and nails that poke through walls, the doors to our private deck area had a hook & eye closure that had obviously been replaced numerous times as the previous holes were never filled it. It felt more like a camp bunkhouse than an over $600/night room. The curtains are cheap looking and dingy and our deck furniture was falling apart ( I’m sure from the elements but I should be able to sit on my deck without being poked & scratched by broken plastic rattan).
So high marks for the size and position of the room but not the construction and maintenance .
I was prepared for the sheer number of steps to & from our room but was a bit surprised by how steep, crooked and slanted some were. It’s a bit precarious, so be forewarned. That being said, the employees carrying luggage up and down certainly work hard! And we certainly
appreciated them!
I’ve saved one of the best for last and that’s a huge thank you to our driver Jarvis! We made the wise decision not to rent a car and used reception to book our transportation to various restaurants and sights. After our first off site trip we requested Jarvis exclusively. He was kind, professional, personable and most importantly kept us safe at all times. I know Green Fig has several drivers in rotation and if they’re all as great as Jarvis, you will be in great hands.
Overall we had a lovely stay at Green Fig
