Fairview Inn

The street noise you can hear through the windows, ac does not work well. Bed was extremely hard, the bed frame had bricks under the corners to give it height, the bathroom it oddly small and awkward as you have to go into the bathroom to shut the door. Old building that could use some updating and new mattress's.

Clean, cozy, comfy, and quiet!

Check in was super easy as it had been booked on Expedia all I had to do was show ID. Room although a bit dated was clean, spacious, bed was comfortable, area was quiet at night. I had a very enjoyable 1 night stay for my job. I have stayed there before and will again next time I am in the area.

Seemed to be pretty rundown outside.
Air conditioning unit had knobs removed.
Floor seemed to have a film over it.
Otgerwise clean.

Customer service was fantastic. Quick check in with no hassles. Arrived and was in my room within 5 minutes. Helped myself to the pop fridge on check in.

It’s a small town so if you’re expecting a nice new facility similar to that which you’d find in the city look elsewhere. This was an older building which has been renovated - the outside is a bit rough around the edges but the rooms were pretty decent. Parking lot is a bit small but looked to accommodate all or almost all units.

Everything was stocked and the room was clean. Bed and pillows were comfy. Looked like each room had its own A/C unit. Good water pressure in the shower. Good quality bath towels. Decent amount of food options within walking distance. Wifi and TV in the room. Indian food restaurant menu available for ordering (free delivery) from a nearby business.

I could hear the diesel trucks start up in the morning as people were leaving pretty clearly, but it’s small town Alberta so you get what you get, not a big deal. Older buildings will generally have less sound proofing - who knew?!

Overall the stay here was great and I’d recommend it if you’re going to be around the area.

I liked staying at the Fairview Inn. The rooms that I’ve been so far, were great! i like them. They’re clean, cozy, comfy and quiet! Hotel needs to be updated was very stale smelling

It was an okder building but nicely maintained and rooms were large and clean. But i was asked for a photocopy of my drivers license and I am NOT comfortable with that. I have never had that happen and wish i had said no and just let owner look at it.

I liked my stay at the Fairview Inn…it was really cozy and relaxing and the manager was really nice to us! I would recommend it to others and I will choose to stay here everytime I’m in Fairview!

Basic motel, but room was clean & comfortable and the staff were friendly. Would definitely return.

Nice spot to stay

Staff were friendly, responded promptly when I arrived. I found the suite/room nicely equipped with appliances, cooking utensils and dishes, and even some ice in the freezer! Everything worked fine. The only minor issue was that there is no convenient plug in near the desk, for when you use a computer and need to plug it in. I will stay here again and highly recommend this facility. Thank you very much!

Older building but was clean and priced right. Right on Main Street so very convenient to shopping. Friendly staff and helpful.

I always pick this inn when visting

We had no choice when booking and we pulled up and became concerned we’d have to opt for sleeping in the car… However we were pleasantly surprised while yes its an old building that could use some updating. It was clean, the bed seemed fairly new and was comfortable for the cost it was dang good. Now Fairview is a small college town so we knew there wasn’t much in the area. A bumch of trucks being super loud all night long kept us awake and the parking lot was crazy icy but so is the rest of the province. Overall I would stay again without hesitation.

Staff was very friendly and efficient for check in. Room is large and comfortable.
