Upon arrival it was very crowded, valet was packed and people were waiting in the lobby. I went to check in and was advised their system was currently down. We had a event we were trying to attend but this unforeseen circumstance caused a big hiccup in our plans. After waiting in the lobby for awhile, a member of mgmt came to assist. She took my information and asked me to come to the check in desk. She then offered a discount on the room and waived the valet charge. Ms.Patrice stepped up in a big way and for her outstanding customer service I would highly recommend as well as return!
The room was really nice and spacious and felt very luxurious.
One of the staff on reception was rude. I asked her if she was able to break three $20 notes into smaller $5 and $1 notes. She asked me how many as $5's, and I said (whatever number), and soon after she started counting, I (did) interrupt her and say "Sorry - could you please make that # $5?", and she said (without looking at me) "My lady, why you interrupt me when I'm counting?" I asked her if she realised what she had said to me was rude. She apologised, but then defended herself by saying that she'd said it because I'd interrupted her and she might lose count. I had to repeat her words back to her "My lady, why you interrupt me when I'm counting?", so she could hear her words. I don't think she got it. Honestly, she had a small number of bills in her hand, and to justify her comment with the fact she could lose count was just reaching. I think she slipped up and the real her came out, and I called her on it.
The property was located central to all of our travels. The one bedroom suite was spacious which featured a small kitchenette, spacious living area with large bathroom and spacious bedroom with king bed. The facility was quiet which allowed for comfortable sleeping. The Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
The property was exceptional I have nothing that I disliked.
Everything
My toilet was stopped up and my shower head was broken and dripping room 618
By most counts every thing was in good taste. The one thing I was most concerned about was the sliding shower door bar was very loose
Comfy bed
Great /plenteous shower , water pressure
Selection of lighting controls
Good dry conditioned air
Marble floor transition to carpet had a sharp edge that could hurt a bare foot.
Did not find an extra blanket for my cold natured wife😒
Breakfast was delicious and we loved the location. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Norma helped find a missing air pod and mailed it to us. In fact, I wish every hotel had a Norma.
I liked everything, no complaints.
The decor is beautiful. They offer a free ride if you go around 3 miles radius.
They put photos of Dyson hairdryer on Booking.com, but my room didn’t have when I arrived. They charged a couple of days the valet service that I didn’t use it. I requested to clean my room everyday very early in the morning, and they did only in the end of the day (after I complained many times). Part of the staff are very rude. The food was okay, not special. I booked 7 nights from Booking.com with breakfast included and I received only 2 vouchers of $20 that I can use 1 per day.
Everything was great except the price of required valet parking
A more reasonable amount for required valet parking. $49 per day is too much with no option to self park
The bathroom is one of my favorite features. I wish all hotels had the large walkin tile showers. The pool was not crowded. Very nice
Valet is a bit pricy
No smoking around the pool.
Dining experience was excellent: Food quality was delicious and the Staff was amazing. No issues.
We loved the numerous charging stations in the room and the espresso machine.
Instructions on how to use the Nespresso machine, because most people do not have one.
Descriptors for the Nespresso pods. For example, there is a blue one and a green one (is one of them Decaf?) No descriptors and the front desk staff had no idea whatsoever. Also, there was only 2 pods for 2 adults, but you should have more. We also left after check out, waiting for our vehicles on a very hot day, asking for water and only given 2 bottles and told that all 4 of us would have to share. Not classy at all, and we left with a poor opinion of the lobby staff. I would rather you add $5 to my nightly rate, and offer us ALL water at the Valet, than refuse and tell us to share a bottle (so rude and unnecessary for a Boutique Hotel.
