Beautiful surroundings, lovely staff...but bear in mind only breakfast is available.
Pros:

Lovely, relaxing property ideal for an overnight stay near the airport without going into San Jose. Renate and Gabby, the owners, were absolutely delighful and make us feel very welcome. If you just want to chill for a day and reset after, or before, a long flight, this would be a good option.

Cons:

Like others have mentioned, we didn't realise until we arrived that only breakfast is available. There are very limited food options in the vicinity, which a local taxi driver warned us can be less than safe after dark. (The hotel itself is very safe.) This wasn't necessarily a problem: for lunch, we took an Uber to the modern mall in nearby Alajuela, where there are plenty of food outlets; and for dinner we used Uber Eats (good food one evening, just about tolerable the other evening). This certainly added a bit of additional colour to our Costa Rican adventure, but if you simply want to relax and be fed three meals a day, this may not be the right place for you.

Heerlijk verblijf bij Alajuela
Pros:

Het meest uitgebreide ontbijt, heerlijk. De kamer was groot, schoon, mooi uitzicht en lekkere bedden. Het zwembad was heerlijk verkoelend.
Een perfecte plaats voor aankomst en vertrek !

Cons:

Eigenlijk niets of het moet zijn dat er niets s avovds te eten is, dus met Uber naar het centrum of Uber eats, wat ook prima is

Utmärkt! Smidigt och nära flygplatsen!
Pros:

Trevligt och välkomnande. Renate mycket hjälpsam och flexibel och smidig. Bra frukost. Ordnade också kvällsmat då vi kom hungriga tillbaka på kvällen!

Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre
Pros:

Herzlicher Empfang, aufmerksame Mitarbeiter. Wir haben wertvolle Ausflugtips erhalten. Ruhige Lage, tolle Aussicht, gepflegtes Pool, reichhaltiges Frühstück.

Perfekte Erholung
Pros:

Sehr schönes, liebevoll geführtes kleines Hotel. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, mit eigenem Kühlschrank und tollem Ausblick von der Terrasse über die Berge. Für mich war es der perfekte Abschluss meines Urlaubs in Costa Rica mit Entspannung am kleinen Pool. Sehr aufmerksame Betreiberinnen mit der Möglichkeit meine Sachen zu Waschen und zu Trocknen. Am Abend gab es sogar noch Tee und zum Frühstück einen tollen veganen Teller mit frischen Obst und Gemüse, sowie Hafermilch. Das kleine Hotel ist auf jeden Fall weiter zu empfehlen, vielen Dank für eure einzigartige Gastfreundschaft Renate & Gaby!!!

Pros:

Nach langer Anreise im Paradies aufgewacht. Ein gemütliches Zimmer, vor der Tür erwartet uns ein blühender Garten mit einem herrlichen Pool. Am Morgen werden wir mit einem wunderbaren Frühstück überrascht, mit Besuch von 2 Tucanen.
.Renate und Gabi haben uns total verwöhnt und bei all unseren Startproblemen ohne zu Zögern unterstützt. Hier ist der absolute Wohlfühlort
Uns hat es so gut gefallen, wir haben gleich am Ende unserer Rundreise nochmal hier gebucht.

This is a peice of Heaven. Beautiful people, very well kept grounds and extremely helpful. I speak little Spanish and they were so patient. Picked me up at airport at midnight my flight was 2bhours late. No problem

Pros:

Hotel de ambiente familiar, muito acolhedor. A Gaby e a Renate são muito simpáticas. O quarto era muito espaçoso, com cofre. Excelente vista sobre as montanhas com um pôr do sol maravilhoso. Piscina em jardim muito agradável. Bom Pequeno-almoço. Estacionamento dentro do complexo seguro. Fica mesmo muito perto do aeroporto.

Cons:

O sinal de Wifi não era muito forte. Preciso ter carro para chegar. Nada que nos impedisse de voltar a marcar, fomos muito bem recebidos!

Lovely owner and property. Comfortable and safe place to stay. Amazing sunset views.
Pros:

Lovely garden and pool. Little terrace with sitting area to Watch the amazing sunset in the evening. Owner is very accommodating and friendly . Breakfast provided was simple and delicious (extra cost. Was my misunderstanding that breakfast was included) . Coffee was very good as well. For a one night stay it was great value . We met other friendly travellers and shared information on travelling within Costa Rica and abroad .

Cons:

Rooms are clean and bed was on the softer side and comfortable enough for me but a firmer mattress would be preferable .
