Close to airport for early morning flight.
Quiet location and modern furnishings
Rooms were ‘cosy’ but adequate for short stays
Never have I wanted to come back to a hotel before I’ve even left. Staff were friendly and accommodating of our baby (note: $25 fee for cot in room). Room exceptionally well kitted out- dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, small fridge freezer and a hob for goodness sake! But the kicker is that view. I sat and looked at the Remarkable Mountain Range out the window until there was no sun left. Do yourself a favour and pay the small extra fee to get the best unobstructed view of the range you’ll find.
Clean and close to airport
The same thing happens every time I stay at La Quinta. I go out for the whole day and come back to a room that hasn't been serviced, then they're knocking on the door in the late afternoon, when I've been on the mountain all day, am tired and just about to get in the shower.
You gave feedback previously about taking this into account with your staff scheduling, but nothing changes. I'll be looking at other options next time.
The facilities are good, great location and there’s a big parking lot for guests.
The hotel facilities were generally good. However, I was disappointed that there was no prior notice of the NZD 200 security deposit required at check-in, which was even higher than the room rate itself. To make matters worse, the deposit still hasn’t been refunded two days after check-out. This lack of transparency and the delay in returning the deposit were frustrating and negatively affected my overall experience.
It is close to the airport and easily accessible by bus. It is not in central Queenstown, but that is actually part of its appeal. The area is quiet, with a large river right in front of it. If you want to experience what Queenstown is really like, rather than simply stay in the town centre, I think this is a very good place to stay. There is also a shopping centre nearby, so it is not inconvenient at all.
The views were stunning.

I particularly loved the location, nice quiet spot and you have a river walk practically on your doorstep. Room was a great size, cleaned and bed was very comfortable. Coffee and snacks available next to reception, decent prices.

Desk staff was excellent. Shower very good.
Beds are a personal preference but found it average. Food room a bit too expensive.
