Stayed for one night before the beach race at Weston it had clean beds and comfortable the only problem was in the morning when I found the toilet was leaking onto the bathroom floor report this on the way out as we had to leave early for the race but apart from that all good

Having booked a 'pet friendly' room, felt like I was being scammed to be charged an additional fee at check-in that wasn't disclosed at the time of booking.
To be also landed with a hidden charge to park at a hotel in the middle of a barren industrial estate in Somerset is also very sneaky.
More honesty and transparency in your pricing expedia and ibis please

The bed was comfortable and convenient location from the motorway. Parking being charged as an extra £9 for 12 hours is extortionate considering the hotel is in an industrial park, not accessible by other forms of transport. This should be included in the price or not charged- just seemed like a money making scam for their guests which left a sour taste upon check in.

This could be excused if the room was pristine but the bathroom looked only surface clean with white drip marks on the walls and the shower head covered in black gunk.

Bank holiday weekend.
Pros:

Short notice booking. Lady on reception 22.08.25, was amazing, went out of her way to help.
Room very strange. Bare concrete walls. Not sure what that was about. Felt odd and a bit uninviting. Not great value for money.
Dont forget, have to pay extra to park. £9 a day.

Worse sleep ever constantly having to play around with air conditioning to stop it mking a horrendous noise. Went down in the mornong nobody around & had to leave early for work anyway! No impressed

Pleasantly surprised by Ibis
Pros:

First time staying at an Ibis hotel .
I was very impressed by friendly, helpful staff.
Cleanliness is 5 star throughout.Lobby and bar/restaurant is welcoming and good selection of drinks ( not overpriced either)
Slept really well ,bed was very comfortable with fresh ,quality bed linen.
