Hyatt House Tampa Downtown

I stayed here on business during a conference, and honestly, it was the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations.

I arrived very early, and my room was already ready for me, which was such a relief. It was also my first time traveling alone for work, so I had plenty of questions, but the staff were incredibly helpful and made everything feel easy. When I asked for a recommendation for a good Cuban sandwich, they pointed me to the perfect place!

The hotel restaurant was another highlight. My waiter was quick, accommodating, and had no problem with my substitutions. My food came out quickly, and being able to charge it directly to my room was such a nice touch. It somehow made eating dinner in my shorts feel like a fancy dining experience! I could relax in my room afterward and even bring my leftovers upstairs. Perfect.

And the room itself? I was genuinely amazed. It felt more like an apartment than a hotel room, with everything I could possibly need. I was on the 12th floor, and the view was so nice that I left the curtains open all night.

The breakfast was another pleasant surprise. I went in expecting the usual boring hotel breakfast and was completely wrong. There were so many options, and everything I tried was delicious. The hash browns and bacon were great, and the next morning there were even more options, including potatoes and waffles. Even the little details impressed me—when I went to throw away my plate, a staff member noticed and took it for me. Just wow.

On my final day, I needed to leave my luggage at the hotel because my flight wasn’t until after the conference. The staff happily checked my bags, and when I returned before heading to the airport, they had everything ready for me quickly and efficiently.

From the room to the food to the incredible staff, this truly felt like a five-star experience. I would absolutely stay here again and again if I had the opportunity. I only wish I had gotten the names of all the staff members who helped me so I could thank them personally, but I hope this review lets them know how much their kindness and attention to detail were appreciated.

Very nice and clean luxurious feel.

The room was huge and even had it's own glassware which was a new one for me. I enjoyed my experience immensely the only thing I had an issue with was they charge $45 per day for parking and do not tell you in advance so that you can budget for it. I didn't like that at all. But otherwise I had a very good experience

Great Hotel

Everything went well and the staff was more than accommodating. We arrived early and were provided with early check in. Chandra, Daniel, and Sasha did an awesome job.

You can tell not corporations type and mildly dated but very clean and kitchen in the room 10 if I was to go to Tampa stay again and for the week I didn't get broken parking lot across from the hotel save you on parking if you okay with half of the block walk

My only two complaints is that this hotel is Valet only at $45 a night (not including tips which they do request at some point.) If you choose to self park it at random garage they direct you to an off sight garage at $25 a night that they do not own or have anything to do with. It should be stated that they only have valet and no other options when you are booking, instead of finding out once you arrive. They advertise this hotel as long stay but the fridge is really poor quality and does not maintain anything refrigerated. The staff was nice but the hotel has a lot of inconveniences for a long stay or business trips.

It had a lot of space and lots of basic house stuff, complimentary breakfast is a big plus, responsive and helpful staff made the stay better

I was very pleased with all respects of my stay. The valet did a great job being prompt with my car — especially Javier, Stephen, Chandra, and Miguel. Would come back again.

Our experience with the valet team was outstanding from the moment we arrived. We got to the hotel well before check-in, and since our room wasn’t ready yet, we weren’t sure what to do with all of our luggage. We had around 10 bags, but the valet team happily accommodated us by securely storing everything for us until our room was available.

A huge thank you to Chandra, Daniel, and Sasha for going above and beyond. They were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional throughout our entire interaction. They answered all of our questions, made us feel at ease, and genuinely made the start of our trip stress-free.

Excellent customer service like this makes a lasting impression, and these three absolutely deserve to be recognized. Thank you for making us feel so welcome!

We stayed here while taking the Florida Bar Exam, and it was a great experience from start to finish. The staff cleaned our room every day, which made our stay comfortable and stress-free during such an important week. The washers and dryers were easy to use, which was a huge convenience for a longer stay.

The restaurant downstairs was also excellent, and the bartender, Wellie, was one of the highlights of our trip. He was hilarious, incredibly attentive, and made us feel welcome every evening we stopped by. His great attitude definitely made the long days of studying and testing a little easier.

Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would absolutely come back again. Highly recommend!
