I booked a room at this hotel to celebrate my birthday. I loved the decor, and we got some great photos to remember the occasion by! A nice compliment from the hotel was champagne, dessert, and a hand-signed card from the hotel staff! It was so sweet! The restaurant delighted me with delicious food and pleasant live music. Everything was very glamorous and top-notch! Thank you for the warm welcome!

Practical central somewhat reliable 5 stars hotel for a 1st time visitor
Pros:

Location & colonial house lobby

Cons:

Breakfast salad bar made me sick
Thin wall rooms especially joined ones
Staff will not resolve loud noises from floor
Too many business events, so not a serene escape oasis

Friendly and helpful staff.

Cons:

The room does take some time to cool down. After a day of walking around, it would be nice if the room stayed cool when the customer is not in it. I understand the need to save power, which saves on overall cos,t but a cool or cold room would be great.
