Brilliant location and great staff.

Beautiful old building and was lovely.
It was on a very homeless area. Not clean area, but the hotel is fabulous
Location was perfect

Cool old, renovated facility with good vibes. Generally a good base for exploring with walkability to bars and restaurants, public transit. Appreciated the (cool looking!) fridge and pretty good coffee maker in room. Room had a cool layout.
-I think this hotel is big enough to add an amenity like a small gym and/or very basic business center (I had to go to Office Depot to print like 8 pages)
-I wish hotels would have a clock (visible from the bed at night). My ideal would be an alarm clock radio, but I'd settle for just a clock visible from bed.
-Newspapers (Daily: Oregonian or New York Times) and/or alt-weekly (Portland Mercury) available in lobby would be a nice amenity that would fit this hotel's aesthetic
-My room was a bit dirty. I found detritus from a previous stay (bottle caps, a glowstick, small other bits of trash) in a few places (mostly under the sink near wastebasket, but also in another part of room near the bed.
The location was close to the conference.
The bed was horrible, mold in the clothes steamer, and the people smoking fentanyl all around the building.
Beautiful room and very comfortable. The building has been tastefully remodeled.
No on site parking, street parking was available only a few blocks away the nights we stayed there. This was difficult for us as we are elderly,, Lots of street people settling in as we came back to the hotel from our parking place. It is mostly all clear in the daytime hours.
Horrible experience here. I got charged $300 additionally, besides the room charge and was a neat guest for two nights. Staff could not explain why nor did I receive an invoice. I had a coffee and candy from the room mini bar, no way that much money should be taken out of my account. Also, they don’t have parking. There is only street parking on unsafe MLK. Staff was unhelpful when I asked about this absurd charge. I do not recommend this hotel and will be deterring my friends away from here. Stay somewhere else in Portland!!
The hotel was lovely. The room was gorgeous and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful.
The parking was a little difficult.
No hot water in shower, bathroom sink had only hot water, floors were not refurbished well. Got splinters in my foot. Staff was off-putting, only had 1 valet over the weekend, took 45 min to get my car back. House keeping was knocking before check out. Fridge was actually a mini bar no room to store anything I brought.
I love your hotel. I’ve stayed there probably five times now, but unfortunately the management canceled my reservation for this Friday because of the last time I was there unfortunately I left an insulin needle in the trashcan. I did call to apologize and I’m sorry that I won’t be staying with you all any longer, but understand your concern. I will miss the stark hotel staff ….sending you all my best
Everything was top drawer! The common area of the rooms were beautifully appointed . The bed was one of the most comfortable we’ve ever slept on and the comforter was divine.
great location
expensive parking but worth it
Beautiful old building with craftsman details and modern tasteful upgrades. Clean comfortable beds
Water not quite hot enough.
