The hotel was lovely. The room was gorgeous and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful.
The parking was a little difficult.
No hot water in shower, bathroom sink had only hot water, floors were not refurbished well. Got splinters in my foot. Staff was off-putting, only had 1 valet over the weekend, took 45 min to get my car back. House keeping was knocking before check out. Fridge was actually a mini bar no room to store anything I brought.
I love your hotel. I’ve stayed there probably five times now, but unfortunately the management canceled my reservation for this Friday because of the last time I was there unfortunately I left an insulin needle in the trashcan. I did call to apologize and I’m sorry that I won’t be staying with you all any longer, but understand your concern. I will miss the stark hotel staff ….sending you all my best
Everything was top drawer! The common area of the rooms were beautifully appointed . The bed was one of the most comfortable we’ve ever slept on and the comforter was divine.
great location
expensive parking but worth it
Beautiful old building with craftsman details and modern tasteful upgrades. Clean comfortable beds
Water not quite hot enough.
I had driven by this place thousands of times and when Igor a room there I expected it to be kind of a dive. The price was cheap and I wanted to try something new so I booked it. I was absolutely blown away at how nice it was. I got a larger room since it wasn’t much more than the cheapest room, and it was huge. The staff was helpful and the location wasn’t bad at all. It was quiet and very relaxing, I wish I would’ve booked a few more nights. I will definitely recommend it to all friends and family that come to visit.
A lot of homeless in that area but it didn’t have any effect on my stay
I didn't get any breakfast
I had to leave so early, breakfast was not served yet
Nice boutique hotel. Nicely renovated and room was nice. Neighborhood a bit scrappy and loud road noise.
Parking is a challenge. On street only. Valet was too expensive.
It’s a cute old building, the rooms are updated well.
The bed was lumpy and sloped, it really hurt my boyfriend’s back. I think had the bed been super comfy this place would have been fine. The location isn’t near anything walkable, nor would you really want to walk in the area, as many other reviews stated there’s a lot of homeless around. With the $55 for valet parking our total price made me wish we had booked something else. There’s no coffee shop, restaurant or bar in the hotel, so you either need to get your car out of the valet or Uber to get to food or drinks.
The service was great, and the bed was so comfortable! Loved the wood floors
Really no parking!
GREAT ROOM #202 IS MY FAV , FRONT DEST STAFF WONDERFUL
TRAFFIC NOISE BUT NOT TOO BAD
The staff was the highlight of the hotel. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Mike apart of the Valet crew was awesome. Front desk staff were so helpful.
The only thing that we didn’t really like was the shower. No door or curtain on the shower just felt like it lacked privacy and made it a little colder stepping out the shower.
