S'ekar Pinang Langkawi

Very nice and stylish boutique hotel, located in divine location behind rice fields and tropical fruit trees. Ideal for solo/couple/business/family travellers looking for relaxing atmosphere and authentic life-style.
Swimming pool is lovely and you can enjoy amazing tropical garden views while swimming.
Breakfast is absolutely mouth-watering: continental and local cuisine, fresh fruits and juices, and best omelette I ever had in my life.
Staff is exceptional and caters to your any request prompt and with a smile.
Common lounge is ideal for remote work or family/friends time.
Grab/taxi is easy to get and it takes 10-15 min to Chenang beach or Airport.
I surely will be back and absolutely recommend this place to anyone.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt im S'kar Pinang sehr genossen. Schon allein die Bauweise und die viele ausgestellten Kunstwerkesind sehenswert. Wir hatten ein wunderschönes, großes Zimmer mit vielen Ablagemöglichkeiten und sogar ein Extraraum mit riesigem Kleiderschrank - das haben wir bei unseren Reisen noch nicht sehr oft erlebt. Unser Zimmer lag genau vor dem Pool. Hier konnte man gut entspannen, denn um einen herum war nur Natur. Die kleine Anlage hat lediglich 8 Zimmer und so war nie viel Trubel. Das Frühstücksbuffet war abwechslungsreich und mit vielen einheimischen Spezialitäten. Sehr lecker! Leider bietet die Unterkunft - nicht wie im Internet zu lesen - kein Abendessen an. Das ist sehr schade. Da die Unterkunft nur über sehr schmale Straßen zu erreichen ist, macht es nachts keinen großen Spaß mit dem Mietwagen noch einmal zum Essen zu fahren. Doch man kann sich vorort auch einen Roller leihen. Das ist dann etwas praktischer.
Unglaublich positiv ist der Manager der Unterkunft - Sam - hervorzuheben. Er ist immer da, wenn man ihn braucht, hat immer ein Lächeln, ist freundlich und hilft, wo er nur kann. (z.B. beim Abholen des Mietwagens, beim Geldwechseln im Nachbarort, beim Bestellen von Essen). Vielen Dank auch für die wunderschönen Gespräche.
Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht, ist im S'ekar Pinang richtig. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Une véritable pépite nichée légèrement dans les hauteurs de Langkawi, à seulement 10 minutes du Cenang Mall. L’endroit est intimiste, merveilleusement calme et dépaysant, parfait pour se ressourcer. Les chambres sont très sympathiques et confortables. Les hôtes sont d’une grande gentillesse, toujours souriants et attentionnés, sans être intrusifs.

Petit détail qui ajouterait encore plus de confort : il serait chouette que les transats au bord de la magnifique piscine à débordement soient équipés de matelas. Cela rendrait l’expérience encore plus agréable.

Une adresse que je recommande sans hésitation !

Very beautiful place. Stunning view on rice fields from the pool. Quiet and calm, with large rooms that are comfortable and tastefully decorated. Breakfasts are fantastic, staff super friendly and helpful. The manage Wan will do everything he can fornyoubtonenjoy your holidays. Highly recommended.

S’ekar Pinang is a wonderful place. It’s located in a more quiet remote area, while at the same time being only about a 10 min drive away from the very popular Pantai Cenang. The facilities (pool, aircon, rooms, living area etc )were of high quality and very inviting. The personnel (Wan and crew) at the place did everything in their power to make sure we had a great stay and were very flexible and willing to personalise. Absolute recommend!

All the staff were very accommodating and friendly -- Jamal and Am, kitchen staff as well as handyman. They are just opening up since the lockdown so we didn't expect everything to be in tip top condition. But they were very kind to give personalised service like timing of breakfast.

The bathtub was the largest I've used from a hotel! Kitchenette could be better equip (i.e. dishwashing sponge, scissors). The property is located further away from the usual attractions but this ensures peace and quiet. The drive to the property can be daunting but you'll get used to it.

This place needs more attention how gorgeous it is !

While everyone in Langkawi up for the same old beach and duty free, here you will encounter a completely different vibe!

Zero noise pollution, surrounded by various fruits trees and plants. Squirrels 🐿.

My husband and celebrated our 100th wedding Anniversary 🤗 here. We were warmly welcomed by Jamal who is available throughout to enjoy the stay.

Breakfast was simple yet the right traditional options. Even held the breakfast up to 11.30am for us. A Sweet lady named Halija welcomes us at breakfast in a small hut just below the accommodations.

We absolutely didn’t want to leave the room, spending time at the pool just in front of our Luxurious room.

To future visitors please use google maps for directions. The road to the accommodation is among paddy field, secluded.

I suggest you rent a small car like Viva, its only RM50 per day or a scooter to help you get to the main road for dinner and lunch. It is very difficult to get a grab driver to get to your location to pick up.

Well good things ain’t easy to get ! It’s totally worth it ❤️

Design and landscape, among the best that I have seen locally. It is probably reflects the owner's architectural know how & passion. Wonderful experience. It's such a relaxing Villa in Langkawi. The garden view villas are amazing and have a private pool. Bathrooms are really big and the bathtub was an awesome !! Breathtaking view during the morning walk and definitely will come back soon

Very good vibes and chic. Nice salt water pool. Great local cuisine for breakfast, lunch, tea, dinner and supper.

You are not only be surrounded by beautiful artworks at S’ekar Pinang but you will also enjoy their lush greenery and beautiful garden, tastefully done decoration and delicious foods served throughout our stay there. Great place to be with your family and friends. Perfect venue for any celebrations like birthday, wedding and others. It was such a beautiful place to be!

I liked my stay at Villa S'ekar Pinang a lot. This was my first time visiting Langkawi and very glad I spent my time here. With my amazing friends from Kl and Jakarta and UK for Eid celebration. The villa was surrounded by forest and sawah padi amazingly gorgeous - with Art Deco just as seen on the website which is something all genuinely like. The staff and hospitality only bettered our experience here in S’ekar Pinang. We love the warmth and thoughtfulness of the all staff members. The food Cooked by Chef Jimmy was unrivaled by any restaurant. General, we have thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our 4 nights in this amazing Villa. The infinity salt water swimming pool The stunning kampong and modern architecture, and the beautiful, caring team of helpers and the serenity exceeded our expectations. We love it! We will definitely recommend this stay to our friends and family. Thank you so much. We shall see each other again.

Intimate resort. Quiet in a beautiful surrounding, lush tropical boutique resort.Me and my friends had a lovely time. This boutique resort is lovely. It’s clean and the decor is exquisite. Breakfast is good and staff is very friendly and professional. Highly recommended

Sekar Pinang caretaker Jamal has given us a wonderful stay. Friendly, clean, well equipped and most of all, superb privacy. Looking forward to returning again in July for more zen-sation. Special thanks to the owners and golden girls for keeping our room tidy..

Stayed for 2 nights and had a wonderful time. The resort is nestled around idyllic kampong houses and padi fields. The resort manager , Jamal. gave us personalised service at every turn . Grab taxis are easy to get even when we didnt have a rental car. One has to appreciate the resort attention to details that enhanced the overall stay. Wil come back again!

EVERYTHING, food, place, hospitality. EVERYTHING WAS EXCELLENT. This place is slightly hard to find, but it will definitely worth it to make your way here. the food is too good that i still want to taste it even i'm full already.

Learned about this place from a colleague and decided to give it a try. We couldn't find the place at first day and we try to locate S'ekar Pinang and their restaurant "Sekapur Sirih" the next day and we managed to find it thanks to Google Drive.

When we arrived the came to supprise they restaurant is closed "every Tuesday" however the Co Owner cum passionate Chef Jimmy is standing at entrance and after I told him I try to find this place the day before by fail and we are so eager to try his food, he supprise us by saying " its ok just come and we will do something for you" that's what I call Malaysian Hospitality.

Jimmy gladly serves us a jar of freshly blend home-made health juice based on Ulam Raja and papaya which are very refreshing especially under the hot sun.

We also told the chef to decide for us with the food since the restaurant is closed initially and again he "WOW" us with local ulam with deep fried prawns as a appetizer followed by Ikan Pari Asam Pedas, Daging Salai Masak Lemak,Ayam Percik and Nasi Ulam( he pluck the ulams freshly from his little farm- pic.attached).
And for the last Cempedak ice cream I've ever tried before and the taste is so delightful.

All dishes are flawless in terms of taste, fresh products, spices and authenticity.
We love the experience as well as a good conversation with Jimmy and listen to his love of food.
Thanks for the experience and of course this will not be our last visit to Sekapur Sirih.

Everything was excellent since u check in until check out. We were greeted by jimmy who is the friendly owner of this amazing place. The room are spacious decorated by the magnificent art & deco. A perfect place for relaxation & privacy. Highly recommend this great place & Will gonna be back soon and thanks to jimmy for your hospitality

Really enjoyable and relaxing stay. There was a feeling of peace and contentment and really no noise from other residents. The place are full with beautiful and unique art painting as well. Everything was spotlessly clean and very well presented. Love it so much.
The restaurant have an impressive menu and love the traditional malay style of breakfast with hot cooked breakfast.
The owner are so welcoming and knowledgeable about the area and things to do and see
Highly recommend the resort and would definitely stay there again
