On the positive side, the place was very clean and well-maintained. The room service staff were absolutely amazing, and the restaurant and bar staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. The pool area was beautiful, child-friendly, and a definite highlight. The location is also very convenient, being close to the beach and nearby malls.
Prior to arrival, I requested an early check-in, fully understanding that it is subject to availability. However, it seemed like no effort was made to even check or follow up on this request, which was frustrating.
Additionally, the room did not have a bar fridge, which is a basic amenity I expected. Service was also quite slow — requests took a long time to be attended to, which made the stay inconvenient and less comfortable than it should have been.
We had a wonderful stay — the room was perfect. The view was beautiful, and the space was generous, which we really appreciated. We especially enjoyed the bathtub, as it added to the overall relaxation of our stay.
Maintenance responded promptly when we reported an issue with the stopper, which we truly valued. The staff were helpful, professional, and very respectful throughout our visit.
We will definitely be coming back.

We didnt stay there
We couldnt stay there - we requested a cancellation as the property wasnt as advertised. We had used the parking and free parking filter on the booking.com app. We received a message to say parking wasnt guaranteed and was R30 if available. We had 4 suitcases as had been travelling for a month. They also messaged to say noise disturbance likely as near music venues. This wasnt disclosed in the advert and we were only staying the one night with an early check out as flying home the next morning. We have heard nothing back from booking.com or the hotel so i am now putting the trnsaction into dispute on my credit card as both platforms are ignoring my request and i have taken legal advice

The staff at the restaurant are very professional and quick to respond. They are diligent, pro-active and provide a courteous service with a smile.
The porter went out of his way to assist us with a housekeeping issue. Made apologies for the establishment.
Reception staff is the biggest let down. It was enough to regret the decision to stay at the hotel. She didn't pick up the phone, and did so only on the second attempt, both times that we called to report issues. When the porter reported to her that he could not provide any further assistance with a blocked sink, she enquired from him how she should respond to the feedback being presented to her. In the end we had to get out of bed and be moved to another room, in our pyjamas. With our first report on another matter, she promised that someone would come to the room to assist. No one did.
The breakfast was nice, I enjoyed it. Although there were many guests but it was enough.
The dinner buffet was very poor. There were meals that were finished already when I came. I supposed the kitchen staff underestimated the number of guest coming for dinner.
Every weekend the balcony is dirty. The chairs and dirty and table on the patio. Ita like they never cleaned it for a year. Every week I come and stay there and Every time I am the one cleaning it. The last time we called and said please clean the balcony but they cleaned it and put 1 chair without a table and a 2nd chair. This s0ecific roo. Is double the price to other rooms
