I didn’t like that apparently there was a water leak earlier in the day, we were not told that at check in, went up to the room to find out there was no water, called the front desk and she was like oh we had a water leak this morning it will be back on in 30-45 minutes. I just think she should have mentioned that at check in.
Friendly staff and great location!
The water was shut off for a period of time (understandable because things do happen) but I feel like the situation could have been handled more professionally and a discount provided due to our inconvenience.

The fact that I made my reservation in April. When I got there they told me they overbooked and they had another room at another hotel for me. I booked in April, so why didn't the people who booked after me have to go to another hotel. I picked.that location because the event was within walking distance. They moved me to a hotel twice as far away and I'm a DISABLE VETERAN!!! The manager didn't care so I had to change hotels and walk a very uncomfortable distance. Very Bad Business!!

The breakfast was good for hotel buffet. Coffee was very good. Staff members were all very kind and helpful. The room was a nice size with two queen beds, large living room area and well equipped kitchen.
Its location is a little different to drive into as it’s located very near the river. We missed a turn and drove over the bridge which made us have to do a U-turn. Other than this it’s a great place to stay. Will definitely consider it again in the future.

Excellent stay at Homewood Suites by Hilton Tuscaloosa! The room and hotel were very clean, and the entire experience felt welcoming and well-run. A big shout-out to Kim at the front desk, Felicia (Assistant GM), and Bryce (GM)—they all went above and beyond to help me with an issue and truly delivered outstanding service. This is definitely a must-stay property. Highly recommend! (3-week Stay)

Front desk was fantastic on July 12 check out and check in a new room because I had to stay another night to move my college student.
The overall experience... the hotel was clean. Room was nice and clean and felt very comfortable, more like home. Not to mention the customer service was immaculate. Amy was my check in person and her personality brightened my day. She was so pleasant and down to earth.
The only thing I didn't like were people not taking into consideration that some people are afraid of animals and still proceeds to get on the elevator, but its not the hotels fault.

This was a great two day stay. Walked to the Mercedes-Benz Amphitheater, easy peasy. Short distance to good food and shopping. I would definitely book again. Oh, and rooms nice
From the moment we arrived, Amy at the front desk made this one of the best hotel experiences I've had in a long time. She was genuinely present, intentional, and incredibly kind. She didn't just check us in, she welcomed us. She asked what brought us to Tuscaloosa, offered thoughtful recommendations, and made it clear she wanted to help however she could. What impressed me most was that when we returned later, she remembered us, asked how everything had gone, and checked to see if there was anything else we needed. At one point there was a line of guests waiting, but Amy never seemed rushed or flustered. She gave each person her full attention, stayed calm, and made everyone feel like they were the only guest she was helping.
The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and in a great location, but Amy's hospitality is what made our stay memorable. Homewood Suites by Hilton Tuscaloosa Downtown is fortunate to have her representing their team. We will absolutely stay here again!
