Front desk was fantastic on July 12 check out and check in a new room because I had to stay another night to move my college student.
The overall experience... the hotel was clean. Room was nice and clean and felt very comfortable, more like home. Not to mention the customer service was immaculate. Amy was my check in person and her personality brightened my day. She was so pleasant and down to earth.
The only thing I didn't like were people not taking into consideration that some people are afraid of animals and still proceeds to get on the elevator, but its not the hotels fault.

This was a great two day stay. Walked to the Mercedes-Benz Amphitheater, easy peasy. Short distance to good food and shopping. I would definitely book again. Oh, and rooms nice
From the moment we arrived, Amy at the front desk made this one of the best hotel experiences I've had in a long time. She was genuinely present, intentional, and incredibly kind. She didn't just check us in, she welcomed us. She asked what brought us to Tuscaloosa, offered thoughtful recommendations, and made it clear she wanted to help however she could. What impressed me most was that when we returned later, she remembered us, asked how everything had gone, and checked to see if there was anything else we needed. At one point there was a line of guests waiting, but Amy never seemed rushed or flustered. She gave each person her full attention, stayed calm, and made everyone feel like they were the only guest she was helping.
The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and in a great location, but Amy's hospitality is what made our stay memorable. Homewood Suites by Hilton Tuscaloosa Downtown is fortunate to have her representing their team. We will absolutely stay here again!

The pool was FILTHY. Debris in it and cloudy. The halls smelled like mildew.
We stayed here for two weeks to help a family member move into a new home. Definitely had an overall good experience and thought the room was big and well appointed. Parking was easy and felt safe. We had some issues with lack of housekeeping a couple of the days, but the front desk was helpful and tried to solve it. Lots of great food options within walking distance. Also close to the Riverwalk which is beautiful. We would stay there again.
Immaculate hotel in great area. We are a family with 5 kids who road trip everywhere and this was the nicest hotel we’ve seen. Super spacious and comfortable. Great service. Awesome breakfast. Definitely recommend.

Grandsons loved the breakfast. Said the gym was great . Location made perfect location for college visits. Eating places varied and fun for choosing.
Less heat but can’t hold that against location. Visited during record temps!

Stayed at the Tuscaloosa,al location and the hotel was clean and very nice. The staff was very accommodating and Mrs Kim at the front desk was very helpful and made our stay that much better. Def 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐and will be returning soon. Thanks for all your hard work and hospitality!
