This was one of the nicest Hilton properties we've stayed at. Very clean and well maintained. Staff was amazing and the rooms were well appointed. I recommend this hotel if you are staying in Cedar Rapids
I did not have the breakfast. I may have had it if it was included.
The room vibrated with the door slamming nearby, and you could hear people walking around above us.
Dirty hotel with zero resolution and urgency. My flight arrived in Cedar Rapids at Midnight. My king mattress has a pee stain. I called the front desk to advise and request a new room. The overnight desk clerk is as new as can be and could not put me in another room citing they were sold out. The young man. Calls his manager, Brian. To discuss the situation. Brian instructs the young man to basically tell me to take it or leave it. Hotels are sold out and its the middle of the night. I am a Diamond member and this is the worst Hilton stay I've ever had. Despite how many good reviews you may see, always consider my post.
Location for our needs.
Location next to highway. Mild traffic noise but heard drag racing on highway in middle of the night. Walls thin.
They let me check in early because of the tornado warning.
Both elevators were out. The bed was a bit too hard for me.
The lo action was so far out of our way and removed from Cedar Rapids, it was inconvenient. I thought that might work out to our advantage being out removed from the hustle bustle of the college, downtown, and/or the medical compound ( as I always try to be optimistic). It had no bearing on things because the walls and door was so thin we heard EVERY car/truck, door/trunk closing, and any and everyone in the halls talking and/or entering/closing their hotel room doors.
The beds literally felt like we were sleeping directly on springs. And in this day and age, especially for a Hilton, we expect a more motionless, less bouncy, more cushioned experience. Even with my towed-along, personal, twin-size memory foam mattress pad atop it, I don't think I slept either evening. My hip joints and back hurt so bad in the morning, I wasn't sure I'd be able to walk. Now, admittedly, I am like the Princess and the Pea, which is why I bring along a mattress pad, BUT my spouse also tossed and turned and didn't sleep also arising first thing both days but especially on Sunday saying LET'S LEAVE...that was THE WORST BED EVER, and I would have to agree! Hilton, come on...at almost $200/night, we cannot do better than a rickety coil mattress?!
Great staff

Spent two nights here and enjoyed clean, safe, convenient lodging. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient. Free and plentiful parking with easy access to freeways. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The room was clean with a comfortable bed and excellent shower. We found the lobby bar a nice place to gather with great service from the bartenders.
My only complaint is the slamming guest room doors. We could hear doors slamming all night because a highly social group of teens was staying the weekend. These doors' auto-shut function simply needs to be adjusted so that they don't slam. Management is urged to solve this issue.
Location is great and newer facility is nice.
Our room had a smoke smell to it and the shower head only was stuck on a weird setting so the spray was on the "lazer" setting.. I definently got clean.
