This will be our “go to hotel” when staying in Iowa City!
Pros:

You can’t beat the hotel’s location if you’re using the U of I Hospitals and Clinics. It’s within walking distance. This hotel also has a free shuttle. The driver couldn’t have been more accommodating!

Cons:

Everything about our stay was perfect, beginning with Fernanda at the check-in desk.

Very nice and new facility and if I’d been traveling with someone else I would have gone to bar.

My stay was exceptional.
Pros:

The room was very nice. Recycling bin was provided. Shower nice and the bed was comfortable

Cons:

I like a dark room for sleeping. I slept in, but the sun was quite bright. I could not figure out how to darken the room. I do not like taking surveys, especially when the price I paid was $30 higher than promotions I received for the same hotel after I already had booked. The coffee provided in the room was not very good.

Cons:

Thermostat in room wouldn’t cool the room. Changed rooms and while it was a slight improvement, it never cooled to the desired temperature. On booking it appeared that I booked a room with a terrace but the hotel didn’t show that on their end.
