La posizione è stata perfetta per visitare Kyoto senza dover perdere un’infinità di tempo negli spostamenti.
Il letto e i cuscini erano davvero comodi e il bagno diviso in 3 “stanze” lo abbiamo apprezzato molto.
Avevamo alte aspettative ma oltre agli aspetti menzionati tutto il resto lasciava a desiderare. In particolare modo la pulizia era davvero assente, i pavimenti in camera erano sporchi con macchie e lo stesso i muri.. la polvere era ovunque e si vedeva a occhio nudo.
La finestra era una finta finestra, non si poteva aprire ed era tutta opaca perché probabilmente la struttura è tra due palazzi quindi non entrava quasi luce ed era abbastanza claustrofobica.

Good location
Although the hotel looks nice in the photos, this is definitely not a 4-star hotel in our opinion. Our stay was so disappointing that we canceled our last night and went to Osaka earlier.
We booked breakfast included, but it looked nothing like the images. On the first morning, we asked where breakfast was served and were told to wait at the tables in the lobby. A few minutes later, they brought us a plate with some scrambled eggs, cold potatoes and cold fish. The food was cold, and I’m vegetarian, but nobody even asked about dietary requirements. When we asked to cancel and refund breakfast for the remaining days, they refused.
Check-in wasn’t very welcoming either, and the room wasn’t cleaned properly. During our four-night stay, they didn’t even replace the used coffee cups from the first day! Very bad for a hotel claiming to be 4 stars.
The room was also very small and definitely didn’t feel like the advertised 20 square meters. There was nowhere to sit apart from the bed. The sink was in the room itself, and there wasn’t a fully enclosed bathroom, which made the layout feel uncomfortable.
The only good thing was that they agreed to refund our last night so we could leave early. Overall, a very disappointing stay. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel was in a good location, not too busy around the area but very close to subway lines, bus stops, restaurants and one of the main streets in Kyoto. The hotel was clean, room was small but that's to be expected, wasn't too much of a hassle but you could probably only have one suitcase open at a time. Good breakfast in the morning but if you want there are lovely small cafes around the area too. Overall a great place to stay during our time in Kyoto.
The pillows were too hard and the toilet had carpet.
