Hotel charged my bank card on booking.com
Then took my name off the original booking and changed the name to the 2nd person. Made us pay in cash 💸 refusing to give original receipts and if your Australian I wouldnt recommend this ha long bay muong thanh. Iv stayed in the Da Nang location and didnt have problems but this HA LONG CENTRE LOCATION STAFF ARE SCAMMING AUSTRALIANS DO NOT TRUST THEM
Id add the photos/ screenshots of the receipts / online paid bookings but personal information on them.
THE FACT I HAVE PROOF OF THE ORIGINAL BOOKINGS AND RECEIPTS AND WAS CHARGED IN CASH. They told me my master card was not accepted and needed to pay in cash..... I had to ask 7 times for a copy of the cash receipt only to find they have taken my name off and put the second person name on and left the booking.com on the receipt. DONT TRUST THE STAFF IN THIS HOTEL THEY STEAL AND SCAM

No wake up call at 0530 AM.
No bellboy at 0800 AM to take down luggage. ONLY at 0809 AM.
No breakfast ready at 0600 AM. No lights in corridor to breakfast at 0600 AM. No hotel employees at 0600 AM in breakfast restaurant. No food ready at 0600 AM at breakfast. No forceps when employees say breakfast ready. No much choice at breakfast. No fried Bacon. No Olives. No yogurt. Only one kind of cheese. No much choice for sausage or hot dogs. Only 2 juice drinks.
Watermelon juice is much water little melon. No choice of coffee. Napkins from paper NOT cloth Napkins. Poor breakfast.

Too many hotels with similar names which makes it hard for taxi drivers to find the hotel
Breakfast was below expectations.
Not the hotel's fault but one nightclub around plays EXTREMELY loud music until midnight, daily.

The hotel is listed as 5 star, but it had very low occupancy and as a result there was no air conditioner in the lobby and elevators, the buffet was pretty poor and definitely not up to par, likely for the same reason. The room was comfortable with nice view, but no shower cap/comb/ toothbrush were provided and we were charged for the LAUNDRY BAG!!
The water from the shower was spilling over to the toilet room.
Gym was closed.

The rooms are outdated, the sink in my room kept getting clogged. The ac in the hotel was not working, in the room it was comfortable.
Breakfast selection was limited compared to the other hotels we stayed at.
