Lovely hotel spoiled by incident at check-out
Pros:

I arrived via water taxi at Arsenale so the location wa perfect for that. I also liked the Castello area as a whole.

The hotel was easily within walking distance of the other areas on the lagoon.

Staff were very friendly and efficient. Room and bed were both large, and the bathroom facilites were excellent.

There is a lovely, quiet courtyard to relax in

Cons:

The hotel is not cheap. Indeed it is expensive. I was therefore surprised, and annoyed, when my final bill was presented with an additional fee for the room service staff. I think this is outrageous in a number of ways.

First, no mention is made of this until you see it on your bill at the checkout.

Secondly, the hotel charges a considerable amount of money yet it would seem it does not pay its room service staff a decent salary, relying instead on additonal charges a the end of customer's stays.

This practice needs to stop.

I loved it. I hope I get to stay at the hotel again someday.
Pros:

It was a wonderful hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful. It was in a quiet location, but with quick, easy access into Venice centre. The room was spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The housekeeping staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Every day they left a little gift in your room, it was a lovely touch.

Cons:

It would have been helpful to have the wifi code left in the room, rather than having to ask reception for it. It would be nice to have somewhere to hang your towels in the bathroom to dry. I didn't need them changed every day, but there was no where to dry them.

Pros:

Staff and location and concierge. Marco from the bar was fab.

Cons:

The entrance where the tables were were ot inviting and floor covered with fag buts. Should have included breakfast at that price. Did not find the dining inviting. It just felt like a room and a front door not a hole experience

Pros:

Everything was perfect from checking in, getting advise from the concierge (Ivan) and checking out! Fantastic stay, clean, sleek and chic - loved everything about this place. Highly recommend.

A bit expensive, but an amazing stay in a true luxury experience
Pros:

amazing location, great views the front of the lobbies and the rooms were very quiet as well as as well appointed and spacious

The staff was very accommodating and made sure that my wife’s birthday was taken care of wonderfully

Cons:

The bar prices and breakfast prices are a bit exorbitant, but I guess that comes with a territory when you’re staying on the Canal Venice
The cocktail prices and breakfast prices were a bit outrageous
