Pros:

We were able to check in last minute, and staff was quick to answer questions. The main issue was we ran out of water. We could no flush the toilet or take showers. Water was deliver the next morning, but if we were staying more than one night it would have been an issue.

Cosas a saber de Selva y Mar
Pros:

El estudio estaba en burnas ondiciones, buen A/C, buen acceso. Solamente que no hay agua purificafa para los huéspedes y muy importante: nunca hubo indicaciones en cuanto a que la recepción no está en el edificio; sino que se encuentra sobre la 5ta Ave., así que ahí haces check in y check out. El desayuno también lo sirven en el 3er. nivel de ese mismo edificio, es otro hotel de la misma empresa y se llama: Casa Ticul.

No fue posible comunicarme con el hotel por teléfono, el número que aparece en la App de Hoteles.com esta incorrecto. En Check In fue difícil pues pues se realiza en otro establecimiento y no en la dirección de Selva y Mar.

Have stayed here several times, always pleased.
Pros:

This is a great little place right in the heart of Playa. Very clean, quiet and safe. Everything you need, stove fridge, a/c, tv and Wi-Fi.

The hotel was nothing like the pictures but the staff was very nice I could not find the hotel ver bad sign because there was no sign had to go to a total different location to get the key but the staff was very nice

For travelers familiar with budget hotels around the world, this is no different: there are stains on the bed cover that don't come off with washing, there's rust around the bathroom fixtures, and paint peeling in places on the wall. In short, there are clear cosmetic defects. The pictures definitely make the rooms look nicer than they are, but it's certainly bearable if you know what you're getting into. Off the noise of the tourist haven that is 5th Avenue, it's well located for budget travelers looking to economize without sacrificing safety or functionality. I would stay there again and felt it was worth the price, but I know some travelers will be off-put by the rooms' somewhat shabby appearance.
