The staff were great: friendly, helpful with good tips on where to go and what to eat. Room was a good size, well appointed and comfortable. Bathroom was large and shower well designed.
Room air conditioner was loud and blew right onto my face in bed. But it was hot outside. It would have been nice to have real cups in the room, rather than paper.

I woke up to get the complimentary coffee and Matthias was so helpful and kind. He was super attentive and brought cheer to the morning! He’s definitely a good egg!
Overall, a great experience. Rooms were spacious and clean, and parking available in adjacent structure. No pool, which would have been welcome in the Arizona summer heat.
Most of all, Matheus, Theresa and the rest of the morning staff made our stay a great experience. Friendly and professional, they provided one of the best breakfast services I’ve had. They always made sure that our party (here for a 4 day sports tournament) was well looked after. Makes all the difference.
Matthias and Starr were so accommodating in the restaurant, they made sure our large party was taken care of and gave exceptional service.

The AC Hotel Downtown completely exceeded our expectations. Our rooms were gorgeous, comfortable, and impeccably clean.
The real standout was the restaurant. Matthias, the restaurant manager, is absolutely phenomenal — attentive, warm, and the kind of hospitality professional who makes every guest feel like a VIP. And Chef Star delivered what was hands down the best breakfast we’ve had at any hotel. Fresh, beautifully executed, and clearly made with real care.
