De locatie is werkelijk perfect als je hier in deze area moet zijn.
De foto’s op de website van de kamers zijn eigenlijk minder goed dan dat de kamers in werkelijkheid zijn.
Ze zijn in werkelijkheid stuk ruimer en mooier dan op de foto’s.
Zeer goed schoongemaakt en opgeruimd.
Aardig, beleefd, niet opdringerig personeel. Vroegen om 2 dekbedden omdat de tieners een bed deelde en zonder probleem zo opgemaakt.
Ontbeten buiten hotel 2x en laatste ochtend in het hotel. Lunch bij aankomst in het hotel. Alles met verse ingredienten. En goed van smaak.
Ruime bedden, badkamer ruim en de douche is werkelijk heerlijk. Fijne dikke handdoeken. De waterdruk super sterk heel fijn. Wij zijn heel veel gewend overal in de wereld qua high end hotels. Bij het zoeken en boeken vond ik Nomad voor een citytrip best prijzig, maar het was voor ons het meer dan waard. Wij komen hier zeker terug.
De kinderen van andere gasten tegen over onze kamers maakte veel lawaai in de gang. Andere gasten zouden hun kinderen moeten leren respect te tonen voor andere gasten en corrigeren met lawaai maken, rennen en spelen op de gangen.
Amazing location, and a hotel that feels luxurious and like home, both at the same time. It was a lovely way to make a birthday special. The restaurant is a beautiful glass-roofed space that is atmospheric for dinner (which we visited on a previous trip) and bathed in light for breakfast - even on the grey morning we were there. Staff were very attentive and polished. Our room was attractive, cozy and clean. We enjoyed the Mexican bar for a light dinner and loved the breakfast in the main restaurant.
It is a lovely hotel but I expected to be a bit more "wowed" for the price - in terms of experience rather than glitz. I would like to have seen more of the staff's personalities. Walking through the lobby was like triggering motion sensors of five perfect "good mornings"!
I didn't like the door to the ensuite bathroom - two doors that have to meet exactly to close and there is a noisy click as the catch engages.
