The Kind of Service You Don’t Forget
Pros:

I recently stayed at the Residence Inn Slough and wanted to specifically recognize a member of the staff there, Kurt. During my extended stay, I spent time at the on-site restaurant, Jim’s Restaurant (on the 9th floor with a good view), as well as the Moxy bar and lounge downstairs, where Kurt works across both. Over the course of my stay, his consistency and professionalism really stood out.

He is incredibly friendly and approachable, always taking the time to have a genuine conversation while still staying on top of everything around him. He clearly knows what he’s doing and does a great job managing the flow of the shift, all while keeping the bar and dining areas exceptionally clean, organized, and welcoming.

It became something I looked forward to when stopping in to eat and or just have drinks, interacting with Kurt. His level of service made a noticeable difference during my extended stay. If you’re visiting, I highly recommend stopping by for both a good meal, drinks, and the excellent service that is provided.

Really Great Hotel in the Heart of Slough

Great location, shame about the breakfast
Pros:

Huge rooms and great location to the train station. A little confusing with the two hotels in one building so the branding could be better but handled well by the staff

Cons:

Breakfast. Couldn’t make a fried egg for some reason?? Probably wouldn’t have mentioned the rest of the chef could cook a fried egg. No beans or tomato or hash browns. Veggie sausage had to be especially made
