The Hampton Inn breakfast remains the same great offering as I recall from years ago.
Pros:

- We had tours scheduled for Mammouth Cave. This hotel was a good location for the park proximity. Unfortunately due to the shutdown our tours were cancelled.
- Breakfast was nice. Hampton Inn is well known for decent breakfasts.
- The staff was very pleasant.
- The room was nicely furnished. It's current and up-to-date although I felt like it was fluff for the eyes because once you really looked at stuff, it wasn't that great.

Cons:

- The bathroom wasn't the cleanest. I read prior reviews also commenting on the same issue. There was black mold or something around the safety bar in the shower. The on/off valve also had the same black mold or something. When you just sit on the toilet and look in the shower you can see it's not been cleaned properly. They need to bleach those areas and the hotel needs some quality review.
- A couple of dead bugs in the bathroom.
- The streaming channels, nothing special. I could not find any local news.
- The biggest issue I had is that this is a Hampton Inn owned by Hilton and I expected more from this chain. Their online information as to what is included with the hotel room is vague. I spent some time trying to reach out to someone with the local hotel to inquire if a refrigerator was in the room or not. Better online language would have resolved the issue because their 800 number is worthless.
- The rooms do not include a microwave, nor is there a microwave in the lobby for customer access. A microwave is pretty standard for any hotel room. The fire alarm went off a couple of times (accidentally they indicated). Maybe they have a bigger issue at the hotel or was it a fluke.
- The small refrigerator in the room had no freezer and no dials to adjust the coolness. We just kept stuff in our cooler because it was colder than their refrigerator.
- There was a hair dryer in the room - although I brought my own because again it wasn't mentioned in their online site.

With couple of minor suggestions, pleased with stay.
Cons:

Asked for handicapped accessible room. Room was on 3rd floor not easy with luggage. Bathroom needed nonslip strips in tub to avoid slipprty tub surface and commode too low, needed taller commode for easier use.

I have no complaints
Pros:

I dont have anything negative to say about my stay with Hampton Inn at Cave City KY. The breakfast is what youd expect, but ive always found it to be decently well. My room was clean and tidy, and the shower had really good water pressure. The premises was also very well kept.
