Typical Hampton Inn
Pros:

We had an early tour at Mammoth Cave national park and stayed at this Hampton Inn. Off the highway, very quiet, wide hallways, clean room. Front desk attendant was very helpful when we arrived.

Clean but not without issues
Pros:

Three main issues: A) the A/C sounded like a tractor. Made it difficult to get a restful sleep. B) the breakfast service can be improved - one morning the bagels felt like they had been left out for days - hard and dry. Three total and every single one was hard as a rock. I asked one of the breakfast attendants for fresh plain bagels and she brought seasoned "everything" bagels. I asked again for plain bagels and she told me they didn't have any. Not even 5 minutes later I saw another attendant refilling the bagel drawer with fresh plain bagels. And C) apparently there is no safe space from smokers. On the day we left, one of the workers was smoking right by the main entrance and cigarette smoke wafting all through the area.

For $280 definitely not worth it.
Pros:

The front desk guy who checked us in was super friendly and helpful, his name was Jeffery.

Cons:

When we walked in there was dirt on the floor like it wasn’t vacuumed, the floor between the beds was wet, and the tile was sticky.

Convenient location with a well worn interior, you'll probably pay too much!
Pros:

The location was perfect, the hotel exterior was clean and maintained. The lobby and breakfast area were very clean and welcoming. Breakfast was very good and the young woman was constantly refilling and cleaning.Elevators were clean and Mike at the desk was great.

Cons:

There was a very loud noise coming from above the bathroom but vibrated the wall shared by the room. It was like an engine was running in the room, it wasn't constant but you never knew when it would start. The bed was so worn and the pillows were the worst, a cloud appeared when my husband tried to shape it, how much skin cells were in that! Our room was not refreshed, garbage not emptied, my husband took care of it himself. So I feel we way overpayed for an off season room.

Pleasant stay with good and helpful staff.
Cons:

It was very annoying to have no simple access to Fox News channel. It would keep me from booking at this hotel in the future.

Pros:

The Hampton Inn in Cave City is very clean, well maintained, and has friendly staff and delicious breakfast options. Jefferey was very welcoming and helpful. My husband used the business center near the lobby, which was a great amenity. The hotel is also close to lots of restaurant options and is a 15-20 minute drive to Mammoth Cave National Park.

Cons:

There was nothing we didn't like!
