We were there to celebrate our 40th anniversary away. The view of the roof was not very spectacular
Pros:

The location was ideal. Right next to the river.

Cons:

Our room was adequate and comfortable however our view was nothing to enjoy. On our last night there the bar was closed due to staffing issues. No nightcap for us. Monday morning they were replacing tile in the adjacent room. We had to cut our conference calls off because of the noise. We finished our calls from our car where it was quiet.

Uniqueness, location, historical value, staff

Cons:

Hot breakfast selection just so so. Would prefer more traditional eggs,bacon/sausage, etc. But overall it was satisfactory.

Loved this place!!
Pros:

Breakfast was good with plenty of choices. Hot and fresh! Place was beautiful with plenty of room in our room. Very clean and quiet. Ordered food and drinks late night at the bar and everything was great!

Cons:

There was an event there and there was not enough parking.

Cons:

The bed and pillows were so uncomfortable. Bar was out of food and kids were SO LOUD above us.

The best option in Madison
Pros:

The renovation of the building is part of America’s industrial heritage. The rooms are spacious, with comfortable and clean beds, good hot-water pressure, and excellent climate control. The common areas are well designed, there is plenty of free parking, and the complimentary breakfast is reasonable, . The staff is very friendly and attentive, and the bar is worth visiting for both its selection and its service.

Cons:

For what we were looking for, it met all our expectations. The only issue was the breakfast: there are plenty of sweet options, but not many savory ones, which might feel insufficient for a European guest, and I also missed having something greener, like tomato or something similar.

Great stay but pricey for having bad mattress.
Pros:

Overall excellent, probably what was the best is how peaceful it was.

Cons:

Bed mattress overall quality is poor. Mattress needs to have a boxspring under it for support.
Beautiful room though except the view looking straight into another brick wall from adjacent building.
