Simple and clean with a contemporary design that gave it a cosy feel. It has everything you need, it’s not luxury but it is comfortable and the style of the decor helps.
The shower room was a little odd, walk in or possibly wheelchair in to a large wet room, tiny sinks very spread out toilet in one corner. Very small peaces to put toiletries. If you were disabled and not in a wheelchair it would be hopeless. Not sure what or how it was designed for.
The bed was incredibly comfortable, there were good kitchen facilities and the room was a good size.
Really pleasant decor too and helpful staff at the end of the phone when we had a query.
Lack of air conditioning and huge windows meaning the solar gain on a very sunny day was significant. We had to keep the blinds meaning it was dark but at least it was cooler.
It was nice enough
They gave us a room that other people were staying in. We eventually got a new room, the toilet was broken and unable to flush so had to use it very sparingly. Advertised as 2 double beds, it was one double bed that went into 2 single beds.
The corridors were messy with bits of food etc
Good location, well equipped rooms
Could be a bit cleaner - floor, windows, plates and bowls
Location
The corporation running it is awful
Great location in the heart of Clifton Village walking distance from cafes, restaurants and pubs
We were not given the correct room and as there is no air conditioning it was very hot and uncomfortable at night. It was a particularly hot weekend and there was a fan but the room was impossible to cool down as the windows only open a small amount
Don’t stay here
Nothing
Good location. Clean.
Windows did not close properly which meant I couldn’t shut out the street noise which was quite loud throughout the night.
Electrical socket by the bed was loose and not properly fixed to the wall.
Shower was poor quality low power electric model and very weak. Additionally, the shower head holder was broken so I had to hold it.
I booked a twin room and specifically requested this as I’d booked the room for myself and my daughter to share. We were given a double and when I emailed the reception (there are no staff on site) they suggested the bed would zip apart - but this was untrue as it was a wooden sleigh style bed with a double mattress that did not unzip.
Clean, well equipped ,quiet. Private
Check out at 10am but understand the changeover demands
