Location
Room wasn’t ready made us late to our event , desk staff was rude
The air in the room didn’t work. We asked for a portable fan and it wasn’t ever brought up. The bed was absolutely terrible. For a $400 room, it was very disappointing
Elevators were a major issue. No more than 1 was operating at once and it caused major delays.
Everything
Loved Seltzers. Steakhouse was very good. Room service was very good as well.
Without a microwave, no way to warm up food from room service
The service, all staff were extremely helpful and pleasant.
Amazing, loved the suite. Enjoyed the pool and hotbtub and the views from the room and pool. Seltzer restaurant great food.
My first experience fell well short of expectations. The late check-in was only the beginning. We chose your property for our staycation because of its excellent reputation and reviews, so we were disappointed that our experience didn't reflect that.
Beyond check-in, the pool service was extremely poor. We had to order our fruit tray three separate times before we finally received it. Thankfully, Curtis checked in on us without us having to continue chasing down staff at the bar. Even though he was clearly very busy, he took ownership of the situation and made a noticeable difference in our experience. He deserves recognition for that.
Unfortunately, our interaction with the pool entrance attendant was also disappointing. I understand the need to check bags, but there is a respectful and welcoming way to handle that process. The approach we experienced felt uncomfortable and unnecessarily unfriendly.
By the end of the evening, my partner and I were both so frustrated that we decided to end our stay early. We brought our room keys down around 12:30 a.m. and checked out that night instead of staying through the remainder of our reservation.
It's unfortunate because the property itself is beautiful, but exceptional facilities cannot make up for a disappointing guest experience. At this point, I don't believe I would choose to stay there again.
The hotel was fantastic. The rooms were great, the restaurants were excellent and the staff could not have been better.
Everything was great
We booked The Omni to have a nice staycation for the Fourth of July holiday, only one night, there less than 24 hours. Within those 24 hours we had to spend over two hours at the front desk as our card was being charged doubled on three different occasions! Our room was prepaid and they charged us again once we got there. They apologized and said the people who overlook the invoices must have missed it. For this mishap, they offered an hour later checkout. We also opted to pay for early check-in as we were only there for a short time and wanted to maximize our staycation. We got another invoice that we had been charged TWICE for early check-in. Back down to the desk. The people who did the invoices missed ANOTHER thing. The front desk took it off and apologized. About an hour after we had checked out, ANOTHER charge on the card. The people who overlook the invoices had charged $30 because one of the early check-in was $100 and the other was $125, the guy who helped take one of the charged off took off the $125. No one explained to us why they had two different amount for early check in. One lady told us $100 and another said $125 but no explanation on what the difference was. Seemed fair the guy helping us took the higher amount off since it was our second time having to go back and ask why we are being double charged. Whoever is in charge of overlooking the invoices will make sure to overcharge you. They didn't miss when we were undercharged and tried to charge us for the higher of the two early check-in prices, but surely missed THE TWO OTHER PREVIOUS MISTAKES OF BEING OVERCHARGED! I also do not agree with the hotel charging our card after we had already checked out. During our many visits to the front desk the guy assured us that we had been charged for everything and the incidental fee, and the charges from all of the doubles charges would be placed back on our card. So we were not expecting the hotel to charge our card after we had already left and assured we had paid everything. Pretty suspicious to leave your card with this company if they just send charges to it without notifying you and after you had checked out of the hotel, please check your accounts if you choose to stay here! The constant notifications on our phone about our card having double charges throughout the whole trip made it very hard to reax and enjoy our staycation. Overall, a very nice luxury hotel, I just think of paying over $300 a night, you should not have to visit the front desk multiple times about being charged. We were also lied to about the hotel capacity. They said we can pay for early check-in but may not get it due to hotel being at full capacity for the holiday weekend. When we were at the bar that night, we asked the bartenders if this would get busy later in the evening and they informed us probably not since the hotel was less than 50% full... In addition, we had to turn our AC down to 45 degrees in order to get any cold air! We didn't bother asking to change rooms as we were only their one night and eventually got it to cool down after turning it below 50 degrees. On top of that, we were expecting a different atmosphere. If you are okay with kids running around the pool, constantly jumping in splashing water into your drinks and your bags by your chairs, and parents not watching their children, this may be the place for you. We also had to ask multiple times for a menu by the pool on different occasions. The food and drinks were amazing and the views. They were out of a lot of the cocktails listed on the menu, but we found something we liked. Only giving more than one star because our bartender, Kourtney, who also works for Southwest was amazing! Just with the price of the hotel, I was expecting a little more upscale service.
The location and proximity to downtown.
