Lyric Hotel West End, an Ascend Collection Hotel

The overall stay was nice and very comfortable. We will definitely stay again.

We did have some issues with our room key, but it was fixed promptly.

The staff were nice and helpful.

Hotel staff was very rude at check-in because we had booked through a third party. It was much cheaper and we were booking 10 rooms. We contacted the hotel prior to booking through the third party but they would not work with us. There was 1 night worker who was very polite.

Very nice and close to campus.

Very clean room and staff was especially friendly. Only problem was the faucet in the bathroom was very very loose

Came for a funeral and it was one of the few options. Had 2 rooms - suite and 2 Q size rooms. The suite was underwhelming and small. The couch looked like it came from a junkyard. I liked my moms room a lot better for $40 cheaper a day.

Location was good. Cleanliness of hotel was lacking an repairs in room were needed sink facet was loose sink is too small and lighting was poor. The bed was comfortable on the plus side and room was quiet.

Room is comfortable. Bathroom is clean. One bedside light was burned out, and there was only one caffeinated coffee pod.
Carpet in the public areas needs cleaning. Carpet on this hall is tearing apart.
Cleaning staff needs better training & probably better pay. Whoever is in charge overall of house cleaning needs to step up.

Had to switch rooms after we had already unpacked because AC would not cut on. They only had one room ready that they could transfer us to although it was at night and hotel was empty. That room was not very clean and the guest room keys did not work. Staff had to use master keys to let us in every time we left room. Prefer the Cotton House by Marriott a few miles away

The water in the tub was brown but the shower was great. Loved the suite with the living and sleeping area and 2 bathrooms!

Staff was very friendly and helpful, place was quiet and get very safe. Beds were very comfy. bathroom was dirty I had to buy cleaner and clean myself, the heat wouldn’t work the first night and the 2nd night it wouldn’t go off and got to 79 in our room!

Enjoyed our stay…no luxuries for the cost in that particular area. The price was a bit elevated and no frills as that area is certainly not a sought after area that would extend itself to high cost lodging.

The facilities were very clean

Bad coffee maker, bad laboratory faucet. Exit door for unit had a part hanging loose with screws about to fall out. Took awhile to find TV remote. It was hidden out of sight.

The key fob to our door did not work. Was told that maintenance could not get to it until next day, so every time we needed to get into our room, the desk clerk had to come up and let us in. I had to go to the car in the middle of the night and could not get back into the building. Had to ring the bell several times before an unhappy overnight clerk let me in. Should have been moved to a different room after the first few times sets of keys didn't work.

Enjoyed our stay. Comfortable, clean and quiet. Front Desk staff were wonderful, very attentive and professional. There were a few items that needed maintenance attention (ice maker, exterior entrance door damaged, lights in bathroom too dim). However, overall, it was super clean and very nice. We visit Cleveland often. This is our hotel of choice!

Safety of entry doors to hotel.Safety lock on room door did not work. Lightning could be a little better in bathroom. Everything else okay.

Great hotel and location, the weather was nice and the pool was closed only down side about visit.
