This was an awesome stay with family. Property and staff were incredible.

We stayed at the vacation club so we had a 1 bedroom villa. It was incredible - clean, comfortable, well stocked so we could cook and save some money. Exactly what I expected having stayed at other vacation club properties.

Where the experience fell short was the facilities outside. The pool is lovely but the gardening staff was constantly doing loud maintenance - power washing and leaf blowing for hours at the time while people were trying to enjoy the pool during the morning hours when it wasn’t raining (afternoons in CR tended to be rainy during the season we visited). This even happened while a wedding was taking place on a lawn nearby. I appreciate the high standards but some leaves on the lawns would have bothered me a lot less than listening to a leaf blower while trying to relax.

The other really disappointing part of this hotel is the beach. It was COVERED in trash and just so sad to see. I wish the Marriott would pay their staff to clean up the beach instead of leaf blowing leaves from the lawn.

Excellent location. Too many kids for my liking but beautiful resort and helpful staff.

Overall Nice resort close to the AirPort. Came for golf and that was amazing. Beach is not good and area is not great. Resort overall is clean and had alot of options. Vacation club was nicer than hotel and newer

Wonderful pools and grounds

Having visited over 15+ Marriott vacation clubs as an owner and being a lifetime Titanium, I recommend skipping this one. We just spent 8 nights here and this vacation is a poor afterthought to the main resort hotel.

Cons: The pool is extremely boring and cold with numerous broken lounge chairs and 0 bathrooms for the vacation club pool. There’s a food-truck parked 150 feet from the pool which just feels cheap in every way. Every night we smelled weed, cigars and/or cigarette smoke during our family’s spring break vacation. All of the staff are at the main hotel and, other than the maids, this place is 100% absent any oversight. Check in is at the main resort and numerous people complained about how unfriendly the front desk staff was. There’s no welcoming sign to the Vacation Club from the parking lot. The kitchen is lacking an oven and there’s no bbq grills if you wanted to cook up a local fish. All of the little extras you expect from a standard MVC are just missing. Lastly, I cannot understand why Marriott decided to build here as this is quite literally the worst beach in all of Costa Rica; the sand looks like dark brown mud and topsoil.

Pros: Other than the missing oven, the rooms are nicely appointed. The pool staff at the main resort are amazing. There seems to be a daily treat whether it be ice cream, small appetizers or even a cupcake decorating contest at the main resort pool. The Eco-Tour was a lot of fun and the adjacent golf was gorgeous.

No hay relación precio- calidad, se paga mucho para lo que ofrece el hotel. ii. el check in es a las 4 pm, y el check out es a las 10 am...algo nunca visto, casi que se paga solo por dormir. iv. Por otro lado, las instalaciones son buenas, y el servicio de los colaboradores es excelente.

The Marriott Vacation Club at Los Suenos sits with the Marriott Ocean and Golf Resort. The property is expansive with several food and drink options. Our favorite part was the pool system with 7 of the 9 pools on property being connected. The service from the staff was always prompt and courteous. As an Marriott Lifetime Platinum Elite, I have stayed at my fair share of hotels and resorts and this experience was second to none. I would highly recommend bringing your family or your partner to this property to enjoy the best of what Costa Rica has to offer.

Location, pool, restaurants, all excellent

Resort was pretty. Only good food was the steakhouse. Food is very pricy compared to other parts of the country and dining off site

My husband and I visited here as part of a deal to try to get us to buy into the vacation club.
We got a discounted rate and just had to go to the 90min presentation.
As part of the vacation club, you do get access to the regular Marriott hotel amenities, but we were hoping we would get better treatment, especially if they want us to buy. We kinda felt forgotten about, and didn’t even get a nicer room to stay at.
The restaurants on the property were all just okay. The best food was actually down the beach at the Pelican and Coco’s restaurants- go there! It’s cheaper and way better food!
I think we will only be staying at regular Marriott properties in the future, as we have Titanium status. And we won’t be buying into the time share program.

Ridiculously bad service. As a Marriott Vacation elite level owner, entitled to 10% discount at on property restaurants. It’s a defined owner benefit. But because there was no one available at checkin to present the “magic” discount card to us, and because they didn’t bother to tell us about the discount until the morning after we had dinner, we’re required to pay the higher price because *we* failed to present the magic card. Came to them next morning and just asked them to make an adjustment to the bill, and refused several times. This was on top of the extended check-in time that caused us not to be able to get the welcome package that could rained the card.

Las instalaciones son excelentes. Tanto la zona de restaurantes, piscinas, y áreas de recreo.
Además el ambiente es muy tranquilo, apenas para el descanso y relajación.
