Pros:

Lovely little hotel with great rooms. The decoration and cleanliness of the hotel rooms and hotel itself was nice and felt upmarket. Nice waterfall shower. There were plenty of soft towels and bedding and a comfortable bed. There were also extra pillows in the wardrobe and coffee/tea making facilities with biscuits.
I didn’t have any issues with codes to get into the room or accessing the building. My codes were sent with plenty of time and there was a number on the front door to contact if you had any issues. I would agree with reviews about there being noise outside from bars on the nearby streets but nothing out of the ordinary for a Saturday night and it was certainly only merriness and people having a good time than anything nasty or fights. We just shut the windows, blinds and curtains and honestly it wasn’t bad at all for a Saturday.

The hotel is near to both the docks area for dinner/drinks down Humber Street and the town centre for shopping. Everything is walkable in Hull and feels safe in the evenings. I’d really recommend eating and having cocktails on Humber Street. We ate at The Smoke Room, then had cocktails at Cuban Pete’s. I can also recommend Flour and Feast or Thieving Harry’s for brunch.

We parked in the Fruit Market multi-storey and walked (approx 10 mins). It cost us £6 in total as we paid for the flat day rate of £3 for Saturday and £3 for Sunday. Secure, convenient and close ish A total bargain!

Pros:

Perfect position; convenient location but not overly loud. Nice large room, just little issues with the sink leaking underneath but otherwise it was all good. Very comfortable.

Good location, nice room
Pros:

Lovely room in an excellent location. Please bear in mind they have no bag drop facilities, so if you arrive early you'll need to either keep your bags or use a service like Stasher

Pros:

Under no circumstances leave valuables unattended. Rooms are comfortable enough if you don’t mind not having a front desk and using key codes. Good location.

Pros:

Really loved how comfortable and quiet this place was! Felt really bad as I accidentally broke a lovely mug on my mad sleep in rush out of the hotel but after ringing the person I spoke to seems really chill about it. :)

Thankyou!

Pros:

I would be happy to return here. The room I had was clean and stylishly furnished as was the whole property.I had a problem with the access code to my room but my phone call to the 24 hour helpdesk was answered immediately and the problem successfully addressed.

Not for me
Pros:

When i arrived i needed a code that i wasnt aware off, when i rang the number they said i was sent an email with the door code but i didn't get one.

When i checked i did get an email and amongst the long paragraphs of writing there was a bit for me to email them back with an email address to get emailed the door and room code.

But this wasnt made clear, i didnt see it so didnt email, plus you emailed me, so you already had my email!!

When i spoke to them i did give two email addresses in and they said it wasnt either off them, hotels.com must have created another email address for the app i was using but i dont know what it it?

They found my reservation quicky and got me too my room which was efficient.

But as soon as i walked in it smelt like sh*t, they room was immaculate just the smell.

They got me to another room very quick, rooms are lovely.

Shame about the first room, and bit confusing gaining entry.

Only other bits are couldn't get anywhere near the hotel due to a road closure, so had to park 15min walk away.

And the shower head hadnt been cleaned as only 25% ish of the nozzles worked on the shower head until i wiped it.

Pros:

All great. No staff bit had all the facilities I needed and the codes to open the doors and information regarding my room was all proceeded in an email. Together with a telephone number just in case. Really quiet and as a female travelling alone I felt fine.

Pros:

The room was very clean. Everything was modern and worked well. There was no one to check in with, which was strange for me, but with just the email was able to get in no problem. The only reason i didn't rank it higher is to keep in mind that on Saturday nights (maybe more but only stayed one night), is the music is loud and there's partying going on, which i didn't know.

Great location
Pros:

Great central location near to the old town. Easy access and parking. Nice and clean. Negatives were a big crack in the window, very dark reception area, lights in bathroom go off by themselves even if you are stood at the sink or using the toilet and a very noisy early beer delivery to the pub opposite
However, I would stay again.

Impersonal and stuffy stay.
Pros:

All perfectly clean, but dark stuffy and hot. Towels were thick and good. Bathroom excellent. Access was difficult. Outside keypad difficult to see in daylight and sun.
Bed was small although a double and room was very hot and windows were impossible to open. Aircon was not effective enough. Pleased it was only one night.

Pros:

I enjoyed the room. Bed lovely, nice shower, everything I'd expected and very nicely presented. Despite city centre location it was very quiet (I did stay midweek) and I had a great night's sleep. A bottle of water would have been a welcome extra.
