Pros:

It was ot good! No elevator we counted 90 steps
Furniture where broken and there where big cocroaches in the room!

Pros:

A clean, spacious room with a balcony and good view. Helpful staff. Good restaurant. Good location. The website listed air con. There is no air con, but with a fan i was quite comfortable.

Pros:

I got previous guest’s used toothpaste and lotion (this is totally unacceptable for sanitary reasons). I paid for a king size bed and got 2 twin beds moved together- the mattresses were so hard I felt so sorry for kids that are assigned twin beds in hotels.
Staff was friendly but I would NOT recommend this hotel. I am sorry - it does not meet standard

Pros:

From the outside the property looks nice but I am giving this negative rating because when we got there the room advertised was not available.

They tried to offer us another room in the corner which had no windows and was probably barely 8ft or so. I’m not sure who’s error it was (Expedia or partners) but it was unacceptable given how late we arrived.

Management was professional and tried to resolve it showing that the booking on the partner site was a different room but we couldn’t justify paying for that small room. We ended up taking another hotel down the street!

An affordable and pleasant place
Pros:

This was a very nice hotel, and we enjoyed our stay there in our days in Kibuye. Friendly and welcomming staff, a wonderful view from the balcony and good food. Would recommend it for future guest planning to stay around lake Kivu. From there they also provide different trips around the lake such as rent of bikes, boattrips to Islands and hikes.
