Pros:

Prachtige zwembaden, comfortabele kamer, goeie bedden en heel behulpzaam personeel. Ook het eten was heerlijk.

The resort itself was lovely. Pool was nice. Breakfast was excellent.

The resort was a little out of the way. Felt like it missed a bit of the Nusa Dua Bali vibe due to the lack of proximity to the beach. The lighting in the corridor was a little too dim for our comfort but we gather it was to create a certain mood

I have been here twice now and unfortunalty I do not intend on coming back again
Pros:

We felt like 3rd rate people here, the staff would overlook us to serve their own kind on many occations. This was addressed to management but the behaviour still persisted.
Our room was never really cleaned properly or basic utems were not left after cleaning, no towels, no water...

Cons:

Being ignored by staff.

Not a 5 stars hotel
Cons:

Not sure how this hotel got 5 stars, but it definitely is not.

I have been living in Bali for 8 years and have stayed in many hotels across the island, and I can confidently say this was the worst experience I’ve had in terms of service. The staff were, without exaggeration, the rudest I’ve encountered.

We stayed 2 nights during Nyepi, when the hotel was clearly fully booked. Despite this, the facilities were not managed properly. The kids club was constantly overcrowded and far too small for a property of this size — completely unusable.

The room itself was very disappointing: extremely humid and with a strong unpleasant smell, to the point it felt like breathing in mold. Definitely not what you expect from a “5-star” hotel.

The final morning at breakfast was the worst part. We were a group of 7 people and asked for a table together. Instead, the staff kept insisting on offering us a table for 5, while multiple larger tables were left occupied for long periods with just a glass or two on them and no guests. There was no effort to accommodate us, just a complete lack of care and logic.

As for the food — honestly, it was disgusting. I genuinely don’t understand how this hotel maintains such high ratings.
Lastly, they brought some sweets in the room with a thank card which referred to other people (see photo below)

Overall, a very disappointing stay. Definitely not worth the price, and far from a 5-star experience.

Pros:

The hotel was spacious and very clean. The rooms were very modern and clean. The staff were exceptional and made you feel welcome. Special mention to Hendrik whose customer service was over and above. Also special mention to Hana, learning, but had exceptional personality and was a joy to speak with. The food was excellent and lots to choose from at breakfast.

Cons:

Hard to mention anything but the distance was probably a bit far from the main shopping and eating area. For older guests, this may be a problem. We would have walked more but had wet weather during our stay. Also found that the rooms were cleaned late in the day. Had to ask on two occasions if we could get our room cleaned as it was late afternoon.
