When travelling with a dog, please note that an extra charge of £25 for 1 dog or £40 for a maximum 2 dogs, per night applies. Dogs are allowed in designated guest rooms-please notify the hotel in advance- unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate dogs in our Sora Sky Bar.
Please note our Sora Sky Bar is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
There are limited onsite parking spaces available at the Hotel for £ 27.50 per night per car. Car parking must be booked in advance of your stay. Alternatively, there is an NCP car park on Tanner Row, just a couple of minutes walk from the hotel reception. Prices are approximately £40.00 for 24 hours.
The Breakfast inclusive rates include a Full-cooked breakfast and Dinner inclusive rates includes 2 courses from our Seasonal A’ la Carte menu and a side dish. Supplements apply to certain items. Inclusions only apply to adults. Children’s Breakfast is not included in the advertised rates and the charges are as follows directly to the hotel: 0-4 years old – Breakfast Complimentary/5- 11 years old – Breakfast charged at 50% full price/ 12 and over breakfast charged at full adult price. Kids Dinner Menu is also available.
Please note extra beds and cots must be confirmed with the hotel prior to arrival, customers will be required to settle children's extra bed charges (£30 per night) directly with the hotel.
Starting 9th October 2024 our hotels will be cashless, please use cards or digital payments for transactions.

Clean. Nice design. Wonderful location just outside walls and very short walk into old town and to train station. Air conditioned. Good value.

The staff were all lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. The location was perfect. We used the onsite restaurant twice as it was so good.

People sitting in entrance steps smoking and drinking is off putting.

Poor lighting and inadequate storage. Also says parking available but in reality there are only a few parking spaces and local parking is very expensive
We requested an upgrade but none were available, however it was a late booing so that is fair.
The location of the property is perfect. Bed is comfortable. Showers and water temperature is great! Good size rooms.
The television remote is not working, requested for the battery on the remote but was never provided. The room is too hot as it was summer time when we stayed, temp is set to 19degrees lowest and cannot be changed unless they override their system in which they have not done when we went to the reception and mentioned it. They only provided us with a small fan blowing hot air around the room. The sleep was not comfortable at all. Big hotel and you would expect that they have airconditoned but there wasnt.

Parking was not available despite being advertised as having some plus discounted ncp nearby. Nearest was £40 per night!
My stay was extremely disappointing from start to finish. The staff appeared very inexperienced and lacked even the most basic customer service skills.
One of the biggest frustrations was the parking. The property advertises parking, yet there was no parking available, which caused unnecessary inconvenience and was very misleading.
The restaurant was poor, with bland, uninspiring food, and they did not accommodate allergies well at all. As someone with dietary requirements, I found the experience disappointing and not particularly reassuring. The breakfast was also shocking and well below the standard I would expect.
The room itself was equally disappointing. The bed was uneven, making it uncomfortable to sleep, the pillows were rock hard, the coffee machine didn’t even have any coffee pods, and there wasn’t any complimentary bottled water in the room.
I travel alot and this hotel does not even have the basics. I had the club room too which simply did not even have this!
Overall, this was a very poor experience and certainly not one I would recommend. There are significant improvements needed across customer service, facilities, dining, and the overall guest experience.
