When travelling with a dog, please note that an extra charge of £25 for 1 dog or £40 for a maximum 2 dogs, per night applies. Dogs are allowed in designated guest rooms-please notify the hotel in advance- unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate dogs in our Sora Sky Bar.

There are limited onsite parking spaces available at the Hotel for £ 27.50 per night per car. Car parking must be booked in advance of your stay. Alternatively, there is an NCP car park on Tanner Row, just a couple of minutes walk from the hotel reception. Prices are approximately £40.00 for 24 hours.
The Breakfast inclusive rates include a Full-cooked breakfast and Dinner inclusive rates includes 2 courses from our Seasonal A’ la Carte menu and a side dish. Supplements apply to certain items. Inclusions only apply to adults. Children’s Breakfast is not included in the advertised rates and the charges are as follows directly to the hotel: 0-4 years old – Breakfast Complimentary/5- 11 years old – Breakfast charged at 50% full price/ 12 and over breakfast charged at full adult price. Kids Dinner Menu is also available.
Please note extra beds and cots must be confirmed with the hotel prior to arrival, customers will be required to settle children's extra bed charges (£30 per night) directly with the hotel.
Starting 9th October 2024 our hotels will be cashless, please use cards or digital payments for transactions.

The location is good and it’s a lovely hotel
The fact our room wasnt ready until 4;15pm which is far too late when you’re only staying one night. Check in should have been 3pm but the hotel messed up our room. Very disappointed and said what would they think k if that had happened to them…just got blank faces!
Ontbijt, bed, douche, hygiene. Gebouw ansich.
Veels te veel herrie van de buren. Tot 1 uur in de nacht leek het wel een pub/disco. En in de ochtend last van de bouwwerkzaamheden naast de buren.. Ik snap dat het midden in de stad is...maar voor deze prijs kun je dit niet verkopen.

Parking .. they said they had parking and then we were told it’s£40 and a 2min walk. If you was there for 5 days it would cost £200 for parking!! I wouldn’t visit York again the city wants people but have parking costs to high.
Location was great once parked everywhere nearby by foot

Road was closed making parking difficult no advance notice of this , ended up paying £40 for less than 24hrs parking
Roof terrace apparently had to be pre-booked which was a shame as the main reason of picking this hotel , still waiting for a table !

We ended up upgrading to a Junior Suite. It was very spacious and had a comfortable king sized bed. Great value for money
location... friendly staff. good selection of breakfast. Stay for 1 night only for leisure.

So handy to the train station and then not far to the town and York Minster, just across the bridge, and bus service outside as well. Love the Malmaison quirky, back to front taps and colours and TV hidden behind a picture. The breakfast was amazing as well !!
