When travelling with a dog, please note that an extra charge of £25 for 1 dog or £40 for a maximum 2 dogs, per night applies. Dogs are allowed in designated guest rooms-please notify the hotel in advance- unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate dogs in our Sora Sky Bar.
Please note our Sora Sky Bar is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
There are limited onsite parking spaces available at the Hotel for £ 27.50 per night per car. Car parking must be booked in advance of your stay. Alternatively, there is an NCP car park on Tanner Row, just a couple of minutes walk from the hotel reception. Prices are approximately £40.00 for 24 hours.
The Breakfast inclusive rates include a Full-cooked breakfast and Dinner inclusive rates includes 2 courses from our Seasonal A’ la Carte menu and a side dish. Supplements apply to certain items. Inclusions only apply to adults. Children’s Breakfast is not included in the advertised rates and the charges are as follows directly to the hotel: 0-4 years old – Breakfast Complimentary/5- 11 years old – Breakfast charged at 50% full price/ 12 and over breakfast charged at full adult price. Kids Dinner Menu is also available.
Please note extra beds and cots must be confirmed with the hotel prior to arrival, customers will be required to settle children's extra bed charges (£30 per night) directly with the hotel.

Very comfy beds and ample space for 2 people in the rooms. Great rooftop bar/restaurant.
The only thing i didn't like was the look of the building from the outside. All of York is beautiful and the hotel is a bit of an eyesore. Lovely as soon as you enter though!

The breakfast was okay o had to send the cooked breakfast back as the bacon wasn’t cooked very well and was cold but other than that was a lovely hotel . We dien get to use the roof top bar as you had to book we didn’t know this as was always busy . Was a shame as would have been nice to go Up there

A surprising gem within walking distance of the railway station. Rooms had all the amenities in a cosy setting. Restaurant offered creative dishes and service was excellent.
The rooms are chic in colour and design but the effort to look modern and save power has led to weird/inadequate lighting.

Nothing we enjoyed the last stay we had so we returned with friends.
We used the Hotel Car Park but didn’t have clear directions to where it was but when we found it, it was actually really good , the only problem we had was when leaving we struggled to get out due to parked cars and deliveries.

The afternoon tea was different, not just the usual finger sandwiches and heavy scones, just what we were looking for and not too filling. Perfect!
The staff were lovely with the right level of attention, never felt rushed or that anything was too much.
