There are limited onsite parking spaces available at the Hotel for £ 27.50 per night per car. Car parking must be booked in advance of your stay. Alternatively, there is an NCP car park on Tanner Row, just a couple of minutes walk from the hotel reception. Prices are approximately £24.50 for 24 hours, with discounts available when using the NCP app.
The Breakfast inclusive rates include a Full-cooked breakfast and Dinner inclusive rates includes 2 courses from our Seasonal A’ la Carte menu and a side dish. Supplements apply to certain items. Inclusions only apply to adults. Children’s Breakfast is not included in the advertised rates and the charges are as follows directly to the hotel: 0-4 years old – Breakfast Complimentary/5- 11 years old – Breakfast charged at 50% full price/ 12 and over breakfast charged at full adult price. Kids Dinner Menu is also available.
Please note extra beds and cots must be confirmed with the hotel prior to arrival, customers will be required to settle children's extra bed charges (£30 per night) directly with the hotel.

Great location only few minutes walk from the train station & then into the centre. Hotel was modern, clean, beds comfortable, we went club mal and had lovely view of minster large room. I stayed with my friend for her 80th birthday and they made our stay so special we will never forget it. Special thankyou to Ibrahim the chef, who cooked us the best steak we have ever tasted, & took the time to come & talk to us, also Nathan, Peter, Alice & Anthony-you are a star! We can't wait to return so we can see you all again and enjoy our stay as much as we did this time. Reception very helpful and helped when asked, thankyou too 😊

Location
The hotel was lovely, well maintained and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful and the room (family suite) was huge! Our little one had his own big sofa bed in what was effectively a separate room, which was a great plus. The bed was huge and comfy and the bathroom was exceptional, the bath was huge, the shower was huge and the whole room was modern and classy. It felt much more expensive than it actually was.
Not much to criticise in all fairness but if I was being really picky, the chrome cast feature on the TV’s was a bit fiddly

Trying to telephone the hotel before our visit was a nightmare!
We had mixed feelings about our two nights at the Malmaison. On the plus side was the convenient location, superb rooftop restaurant and excellent in- room light breakfast. The negatives included the very basic level of equipment in our room (eg. no coffee machine, bathrobes or wine glasses); and poor bathroom lighting. We had to request an adequate supply of drinking water. This is a reasonably good hotel that could be a superb one with some better direction.

Everything was excellent- staff, cleanliness and food.
Breakfast was perfect.
The lighting in our room- couldn’t increase it from dim.
The Muzak in the bar/restaurant - a big conscious effort required to block it out to prevent us from enjoying the excellent food.

The room was very dusty over the bed and on the headboard.

Window nets were brown and stained.
No mirror over the desk/dressing table which made it hard to dry your hair.
The small magnifying mirror was fixed and pretty useless for using as the magnification was too strong.
If you went toilet in the night the light was really bright and woke up my friend as it was not closed off just had a glass shield which was see through.
