After reading the reviews i expected what was to come for the good price. But the owners and management was very rude. They had to switch out my room I PRE-BOOKED in JULY from a double bed room to a really small and dirty looking single room. It was too much effort to find another hotel. But they had poor customer service. I asked to be accommodated to receive money back for the abrupt change and they said we could check out at 3/4pm the day we were leaving which we didn't mind because our flight didn’t come until 8pm. On the day to leave they rudely asked to leave by 2. I just say let karma hit them. Because they treated me and my friend so bad without giving any compensation in return. They think they are definitely more than what they are. They don't even provide good towels or cleaning or hangers. Their towels are like small rags. It was just terrible here. I do not suggest to stay here if you are looking to come out and enjoy New York! Hospitable owners and management needs to buy out this property and take over. They suck.
I just wasn’t impressed and I don’t think I would stay again
room and bathroom were not clean, no hangers or iron and when I asked them, they told me they will bring it and they didn't. asked for extra pillow but they never give me one. never gonna stay in it again or recommend it to anyone. 0/10
The sheets were stained and covered in tears, under the bed was a thick layer of dust and remnants of tenants’ stays. The bathroom could’ve been worse but the shower curtain was covered in mold and there wasn’t any hand soap by the sink. You’re definitely getting what you pay for and nothing more.
Needed a place after a bunch of flights were cancelled. Staff was courteous, but the room floor was a bit dirty, toilet flush didn't work so well and there were no towels in the room by default. Could be due to tat day's rush though. The nearby restaurant was nice enough
The guy at the counter made me ge $50 cash out to INCLUDE with payment!!!!!!!😡😡😡
I wish there was a 2 1/2 star choice. Walking from Jamaica Station to the hotel was not a pleasant experience. It is in a very rough area. Even the desk clerk was behind bulletproof glass. If you need to stay a night close to JFK, this place is an inexpensive choice (walking to and from the Air Train in daylight). But, on to the room. Small room, but very bright and clean. You can tell the place isn't that old. Google street view even shows the old building before it was torn down. But wait! No towels in the bathroom. It took 2 calls an hour apart to finally get towels delivered to the room. I put the towels on the towel rack and the rack came off the wall. Someone didn't install it correctly. The refrigerator was placed next to the bed so close that the door would only open a few inches. Who designed this room? We'll, my bright idea was to move the bed over so we could get our drinks and food in. It worked. But, the headboard didn't move with the bed because it was attached to the wall. Who designed this place? Anyway if you have no choice but to spend the night by the Jamaica Station and you want to save a few bucks (Holiday Inn is a little farther down the block at more than double the price), this would be an "OK" choice. The front desk people were nice and polite and apologized for the towel rack when we checked out.
Staff
Last minute airline delay booking so the cost to stay was so not worth it. I know it's a no frills hotel,
but plastic covering under bed sheets, uncomfortable mattress, thin blanket, not very clean room and no towels were available. Pay a little extra and find another hotel.
The room I was allotted was not cleaned, the sheets were dirty and no towels in the bathroom.
I went to the front desk and told the worker who told me he had only one other room and he went and checked it before assigning it to me as a replacement for the first room I had.
The front desk personnel, came back and informed me that the second room was even worse.
He canceled the reservation on their side and assured me that I would be fully refunded.
Once again, I was out of a place to stay. I was stranded at 2am in the morning and had to drive in the wee hours of the morning to another hotel in rain a thick fog to get to safety with my child.
I will not return to that hotel my whole family was disappointed. dirty facilities, dirty rooms. when we checked in the room was dirty and did not feel good!! No reccomended
Do not stay at this hotel. They dont have any soap or towels in the rooms. They say it is a non smoking facility but there's weed smoke everywhere and the smoke alarms are either removed or not working. The rooms are small and you have to leave a $50 deposit when you check in. They give it back to you at checkout but they don't tell you that when you book the room.
Although we couldn’t expect much since this hotel was cheap, it wasn’t even worth what we paid. It was filthy- hair in the towels, burn holes in the sheets, glitter gunk on the walls. The place smelled like cigarettes. The bed was uncomfortable and the plastic cover on the mattress was super loud when you moved. The smoke alarm above the bed flashed so bright it constantly woke me up. And there was a $50 cash-only deposit which wasn’t mentioned when we booked and we didn’t have cash on us. Luckily, the deposit was waived but still should’ve been mentioned earlier.
Not clean
I didn’t stay they told me they had no rooms and there is no refund
Nothing to cover yourself, was cold,
Took a shower with cold water, they said you have to wait 5’ for hot shower, 😭😩
The hotel is clean and the staffs are extremely helpful. I would go back
The room was very dirty, and small. Didn’t even have a closet or a hook to hang my jacket. No chair. It was really bad. Worse than a motel.
No towels at all in the room
There were burnt bef sheets from smoking, there was no towels in the bathroom. The ehole hotel smelled like weed
