DO NOT BOOK for Business or Rest: Hotel Functioning as a Long-Term Asylum Accommodation
Pros:

The front desk and restaurant staff were exceptional, empathetic, and did everything in their power to manage difficult circumstances.

Cons:

This property is currently functioning as an asylum center / long-term municipal residential shelter for roughly 30–40% of its capacity, which was completely undisclosed prior to booking. The overall environment has been entirely altered, making it impossible to use the facility as a normal hotel.

*​Zero Suitability for Rest or Business: Constant shouting, stomp noise late into the night, and heavy group activity around the entrance and corridors made sleeping practically impossible. I had to cancel all scheduled client meetings because common areas were congested, noisy, and unsuited for hosting anyone.

*​Misleading Front Desk Claims: I was specifically assured at check-in that short-term guests and long-term residents were accommodated on separate floors. This was false; long-term residents were placed directly on our floor.

*​Overcrowded & Unpleasant Amenities: The breakfast area was chaotic, overcrowded, and unhygienic due to continuous heavy crowding. Public space upkeep suffered, with trash left unattended by the elevators.

​A hotel cannot secretly double as an asylum center while charging standard commercial rates to unsuspecting guests (I paid 700 euro for 2 nights).
If you need rest, sleep, or a professional environment to host clients, do not book this hotel.

Had a great experience
Pros:

The Breakfast in the morning was really good plenty of different things, also the staff was very friendly and the room we had was big enough for the 4 of us

Cons:

I havnt had anything that i didnt like the only thing that i was missing was maybe a small fridge to put some cans in or to keep the water cold

people on 3rd and 4th floor making too much noise, playing soccer ⚽️ on 4th floor hallway. Bathroom without door 🚪 sometimes no hot water.

Pros:

The property was in a good location. Reception staff and hospitality were very friendly. The room standard itself was very good the bathroom was extremely clean and looked new. I ate in the restaurant and the dinner was amazing. Breakfast was average but for the price on the room was good. I would have rated this very good or excellent but the bedsheets let it down as described below

Cons:

The bedsheets and pillows smelt terrible from a distance. There was a strong smell of body odour and they were definitely NOT clean. Pigeon deterrent needed outside window as spent a lot of time trying to get them away as were noisy.

De personeel was vriendelijk. Ze deden hun best voor een goede klanten service

Cons:

We kregen een kamer met een bed die niet confortabel was voor 2 en nog met onze kind . Was het niet zo ruim voor onze drietjes.
We hadden ook geen koelkast in de kamer. Voor de rest viel het mee.

Die ruhige Lage und trotzdem im Zentrum von Almere.

Cons:

Es gab keinen Kühlschrank bzw. keine Minibar. Fernsehprogramme gab es wenige in Deutsch. Frühstück war immer gleich und recht übersichtlich aber ausreichend.
