Cons:

Why does Sofitel continue to put thick Doonas on the beds and no option for just a sheet or thin blanket. The result is they are too hot even with aircon full blast and the resulting uncomfortable nights sleep - which after all is probably the most important objective of a hotel!
This costs the hotel too because in an effort to get comfortable under the doona aircon gets turned up far higher than it needs to be. All very well carrying on about environmentally friendly stuff but you are boosting co2 emissions as well.

Loved this hotel
Pros:

I have stayed at many Sofitel hotels around the world and was looking forward to this stay - and it didn’t disappoint. Stayed for 4 nights and had a fabulous, luxurious room with views to the Adelaide hills. Fabulous location with easy walk in to the city centre, close to some amazing restaurants, and convenient to public transport. Enjoyed access to Club Milleseme which was a welcome retreat in the afternoon after exploring. Breakfast was fabulous in Garçon Bleu as were the cocktails in the bar.My favourite part of the stay though was the staff - from a warm welcome at the front desk, to service staff, housekeeping, and all the various restaurant staff - every staff member I met was so friendly and helpful which makes such a difference when you are away. Can’t wait for my next visit 🥰
