Gerne wieder!
Pros:

Die Lage ist optimal für uns gewesen. Die Elisabeth Linie ist 10 Minuten Fußweg (Direktverbindung Heathrow) entfernt, die Underground nur 5 Minuten (Direktverbindung Westminster). In der Umgebung gibt es verschiedene Frühstücksrestaurants. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon mit Blick über East London.

very classist hotel

Cons:

I chose this hotel mainly because of its rooftop, so it was a huge disappointment to discover that it was closed for a private event. What made it even worse was that nobody informed us about this either during the booking process or at check-in. What kind of 4-star hotel fails to tell its guests that one of its main facilities will not be available during their stay? Honestly, a very poor one. This is not about the facilities themselves, but about professionalism and respect for guests.

The staff’s attitude was even worse: no solution, no explanation, and absolutely no interest in helping.

At breakfast, I also experienced a clear sense of unequal treatment. We were refused more comfortable empty tables, only to see those exact same tables given to other guests shortly afterwards. This kind of behaviour creates the impression of a classist environment, where some guests are treated differently from others for no apparent reason. On top of that, if you want breakfast on the rooftop, you must pay an additional £25 per person.

The facilities may have 4 stars, but the service and customer care are nowhere near that standard. The hotel’s management and the attitude of its staff were more in line with a 1-star hotel experience. Extremely disappointing.

We found a stain on the sheet this morning we found it a bit disappointing, may be we should have check the sheet before we got into the bed,

Auf Empfehlung der nette Dame an der Rezeption wollten wir die Bar im 9. Stock besuchen. Draussen gab es leider keinen Platz mehr und innen, was auch ok gewesen wäre da die Türen offen waren und man trotzdem die Aussicht geniessen hätte können, war ein grosser Bildschirm angebracht auf dem ein Pärchen ein Videospiel in hoher Lautstärke spielte. Das empfanden wir als Stress und verliessen die Bar wieder. Schade

Der Wasserdruck in der grosszügigen Dusche war für Personen mit langen bzw. dichten Haaren nicht ausreichend.
