I felt like the walk to the villas from the reception area was very scary to walk at night. They really need to add more lights so you can see your soundings walking to your room. I never really saw breakfast being served or people around to help out.

The cabin size is good but the furniture and kitchen stuff are so old and not clean. The jacuzzi was the biggest disappointment, not working at all

I had a great experience here. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, affordable, and provided a great view of the volcano. I also loved the fact that they deliver breakfast straight to your room each morning provided that you order the day before. The best part of my stay here would probably be the service. I was involved in an ATV accident and needed to stay in the room a few hours after checkout and the owner totally understood. I offered to pay a little extra for the additional time spent there, but the owner, David, said I didn’t have to pay anything extra. He even stopped by my room to check on me and was apologetic about the internet being a little spotty at times. Anyway, I can’t say enough good things about this place and I would highly recommend it to anyone traveling through La Fortuna. Thank you David and your amazing team!

We really loved the property itself. The only exception would be the wooden floors due to its creaking sound on every step you take. Also, the plumbing in the jacuzzi would cause it to run dirty water but we were able to clean it out before we used it. Other than that, the villa was beautiful and convenient if you’re looking to do tours around the area.

Wonderfully off the beaten path yet easy to get to town. We had our own car. It is so wonderfully quiet. Great room. Great covered patio facing the volcano.

This property is truly special. The gardens are amazing and there are tons of wild animals and some very friendly pups.
There is no pool but the hot springs are nearly. The hotel restaurant is great and very reasonably priced.

We were a little disappointed that our hot tub, advertised inside our room, but was actually, was on the patio. The place is beautiful but our bed was so hard.

Property was stunning. I love the detached bungalows and the scenery. The beds were miserable. Extremely hard. Rest of the room was great. Restaurant at night was quaint and delicious. The breakfast was not ideal as you have to order the night before. Loved the pups on property, they were great

An overnight stay but would have been great to have stayed longer. Beautiful ‘lodge’ in a stunning location. The jacuzzi was fun after a day of activities. Great little trail to follow with a good chance of spotting some wildlife.
