Ein sehr gut gelegenes Hotel mit schönen Zimmern (etwas spezielle Anfahrt mit dem Auto, weil in der Fussgängerzone), das

Sehr gute Lage, schönes Zimmer, krasse Minibar

Cons:

Beim Ceck-in war das Zimmer noch nicht fertig, was ok war, weil vor 15.00 Uhr. Als wir dann später nur noch die Schlüssel holen wollten, war die Rezeption besetzt, was auch ok war. Was gestört hat ist, dass der Rezeptionist sich sehr viel Zeit für die Gäste vor uns genommen hat und diesen Restauranttipps für deren nächsten Besuch gegeben hat (den einzigen Abend ihres Aufenthaltes hatten sie schon anderweitig verplant), obwohl er uns warten sah.

Im Zimmer, mit Fenster zum Rathaus und damit von Aussen einsehbar, war ein Sichtschutzrollo defekt (liess sich nicht heben/senken). Das habe ich am Morgen an der Rezeption gemeldet und man wollte sich dem Problem umgehend annehmen. Am Abend war die Reparatur nicht erledigt. Ich habe es dann nochmals gemeldet und erneut wollte man das reparieren, was aber auch wieder nicht geschah. Es wurde also nichts repariert und es wurde auch nichts dazu gesagt.

Schliesslich hatten wir das Frühstück dazugebucht, jedoch einmal für ein Weisswurstfrühstück ausgelassen. Das Hotel hat es abgelehnt, die Kosten für diese Frühstück (Euro 70 für 2 Personen) zu erstatten. Auch wenn das natürlich das Recht des Hotels war, fand ich das für ein 5 Stern-Hotel sehr unflexibel.

We booked this hotel for two nights, but due to an urgent and unexpected situation, we had to leave one day earlier. Unfortunately, the hotel showed absolutely no flexibility or understanding and charged us the full amount for both nights.

What made the experience even more disappointing was that, despite our early departure and the circumstances, they still made sure to ask whether we had used anything from the minibar.

Very disappointing customer service and a complete lack of understanding toward guests in an emergency situation.

Great central location with lots of things to do in a pleasant small boutique environment
Pros:

The location is super central for all activities in Munich Old Town but also further afield as the local tram and underground station is less than 2 minutes away. Local restaurants a plenty on the backside of the Frauenkirche.
