Pros:

Location was amazing. Right at Asakusa station next to a family mart and across from the start of sensoji temple nakamise street. As usual, the room is bigger than most other Tokyo hotels as Mimaru usually caters to larger families. Front desk staff is always really friendly and helpful with bookings and reservations.

Cons:

We have stayed at a few Mimaru locations throughout Japan, these rooms are slightly less private than the others. In the riverside one bedroom apartment, one bedroom with 2 single beds and a bunk had a sliding door. The other with two single beds in a nook had no door or curtain. Adding a partition or curtain could have helped give the room that some privacy when changing or sleeping when people were using the living room.

Lovely Stay
Pros:

We loved Mimaru Asakusa! We stayed here for 7 nights with our 13 year old in a river view room. Lots of space for families, very friendly and helpful front desk, great to have laundry facilities in the building. Nice view from the roof deck as well. Easy access to the trains, we liked being on the Ginza line. Secret tip, free observation deck on the 8th floor of the Asakusa visitors center. Stunning view of Sensoji Temple at night.

Fantastic and comfortable for 3 nights
Pros:

Great location (walking to Senso-Ji Shine, boat to Hamarikyu Gardens, Skytree view, English bookstore). Comfortable beds. Great big table for eating and hanging out.

Cons:

There is no space outside of the room where one can sit and work on the computer. My husband went to the cafe across the road in the early morning so as not to wake us up. There is an outside space on the roof to see the view but no chairs or tables for staying long.

Fabulous location if wanting to stay close by to Senso-Ji temple. Great family rooms.
Pros:

The staff were very helpful. Excellent having the use of the laundry on level 2. Our room was well thought out and the bunk beds for the kids were great. Excellent location, very close to Senso-Ji temple and Tokyo Skytree. Quick walk to multiple train station links. Not so easy to get to Shibuya/Shinjuku other side of Tokyo but we used Taxis to save our kids feet and multiple train changes. Great food options in the immediate vicinity.

Cons:

There was a sewerage smell coming from out toilet, but you could only smell it when you were in the toilet and it was very faint. Still not particularly nice. Other than that we loved our stay at Mimaru Asakusa Station. Couldn't fault anything else.

Spacious, comfortable, conveniently located
Pros:

Great location close to subway but also so many things to do on foot. The room was very spacious, with Japanese-Style window shades. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom has a hot bathtub. The room also featured a small kitchenette. The staff is super friendly and helpful.
