Personeel niet of nauwelijks aanwezig overdag. Bij het inchecken onvriendelijk en niet behulpzaam.
3 jaar geleden ook geweest toen zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam maar ook aanwezig overdag.
Voor het ontbijt moest je naar het andere hotel terwijl het toen bovenin het hotel was. Ontbijt was ook niet super en personeel onvriendelijk, pakte de borden voor je neus weg terwijl je nog aan het eten was.
Regelmatig geen warme douche en handdoeken zaten vlekken op en was grauw en niet wit. Schoonmaaksters waren zeer vriendelijk.

After four years and more than six or seven stays at Halish Hotel in Karaköy, I have decided this visit will be my last.
i travel to Istanbul for work at least once a year and kept returning because of the familiar staff, the convenient location and the excellent restaurants within walking distance. Unfortunately, I have watched the hotel’s standards decline year after year, and my latest stay was deeply disappointing.
The towels had a strong, unpleasant chlorine smell and felt very poor in quality. The bedding did not smell fresh, and I experienced itching in bed. I cannot say whether this was caused by the laundry products or something else, but it made sleeping uncomfortable. The corridor leading to my room also had a strong sewage smell.
When I arrived on Tuesday, both the sink and shower soap dispensers were completely empty. On Wednesday, I specifically asked reception to have them refilled during housekeeping. When I left on Friday, there was still no soap.
On two occasions, I tried to shower and found only completely cold water. The water pressure was also poor, and the bathroom badly needed maintenance, with a dirty ceiling and peeling paint. Having to dry myself with the unpleasant-smelling towels only added to the experience.
When I raised these issues at reception, I was simply told that the manager was not there and that I should send an email. After years as a returning guest, this response felt dismissive. Other guests I spoke with also mentioned noise and itching while sleeping.
This was not the first time I had raised concerns about the hotel’s declining standards, but I have seen no meaningful improvement. Familiarity and a good location can no longer compensate for the condition of the rooms and the lack of attention to basic guest needs.
I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the cleaning, maintenance and service issues. Sadly, after four years of returning, I will be staying elsewhere.

Хороший разнообразныйзавтрак, прекрасный вид на море из ресторана, отличное расположение, в пешей доступности район Галатской башни, улица Истикляль, через Галатский мост можно дойти пешком до Египетского базара и основных достопримечательностей старого города.Рядом много кафе и ресторанов, автобусная остановка, метро, причал, откуда можно отправиться в круиз по Босфору или на Принцевы острова.
В номере отсутствовал утюг и гладильная доска
The location is great , easy to get to Fatih neighborhood and taksim/ galata . It’s in between both areas and Rahme made sure the room was perfectly clean . Great value
Εξαιρετική τοποθεσία. Πολύ κοντά σε όλα τα σημαντικά αξιοθέατα. Σε πολλά από αυτά πήγαινα κυριολεκτικά με τα πόδια. Απέναντι από το μέτρο. Πεντακάθαρο και πρόσφατα ανακαινισμένο δωμάτιο. Μας έκαναν αναβάθμιση της κράτησης κατά την άφιξη μας με αποτέλεσμα να έχουμε υπέροχη θέα στο Βόσπορο. Την ίδια θέα είχαμε και από το εστιατόριο του πρωινού. Ευγενικό και χαμογελαστό προσωπικό.
Το πρωινό ικανοποιητικό. Χρειάζεται βελτίωση. Φτωχό σε ποικιλία. Φτωχό σε ποσότητα. Δεν αξίζει με τίποτα να χρεωθείτε επιπλέον 20ευρω το άτομο για αυτό το πρωίνο. Το σχολιάζω απλά για να αφυπνισω τους ιθύνοντες.
I love the staff , they’re very nice and helpful with whatever you need. I will be staying there again when I return to Turkey.
