This was a cute property, it’s older but clean and well maintained. The front desk staff were very friendly and very helpful. It has private homes, scattered around the property, which is a little different. There’s 1 parking space per cottage. It’s a nice little quiet area in the middle of the bustle of Gatlinburg. We had a porch that overlooked a creek and it was all wooded and shaded. There are free roam chickens and roosters. You do get woken up by the roosters so keep that in mind. We were not use the pool or hot tub but they have that available. there’s a small kids playground. It’s just before the crowds of Gatlinburg, but plenty of restaurants to walk to. Including a Thai restaurant, which is right next-door.
We had a 2 bedroom cottage. It was the upper level of a building. One of the beds was in a separate bedroom. The other was in the main room w/ a tiny kitchenette. They actually had really great window coverings, they were pulled down shades with realistic photos of bears and trees, etc. Made it nice and dark for sleeping. The area felt very safe there are about, according to the front desk staff, seven bears local to the area. We saw two of them in the parking lot. They did hang out in the tree a little bit near the parking lot.
We would absolutely stay there again if we went back to Gatlinburg. It would be great for more than a couple day stay
Loved the fact it was on the river. Room was clean but did have a musty smell. Staff was excellent!!
Quiet- Clean- Each room has a nice balcony to enjoy a mountain stream and trees with fire pits to sit around and see some bears. Good parking and reasonably priced
We had a great night, enjoying the view and had a chance to see 2 bears.
This was just the right place for us. Very nice.
Some parts of the property needs updated. When you first walk in it has a noticeable smell.
Loved room #105 . Hope to stay there again soon
The room was very pretty and the shower had nice hot water
Very relaxing creekside room. Very clean and quiet
Loved the private sitting area with the creek in the back. The property is dated, but very quaint and peaceful. It is walkable into downtown and convenient access to other areas
Loved it!
The cabin was perfect
Very clean and comfortable
Recommend!
The Mountain stream, was really nice to sit by! Didn’t like the very small bathroom
We stayed for one night. Check-in was easy, and the staff was friendly and helpful. However, there was no clear signage directing us to our room, which made it difficult to find—we ended up having to return to the front desk for assistance. The room was generally clean and orderly, but the bathroom needed more attention. There were long black hairs left behind from a previous guest, and the space showed signs of wear and tear, needing some basic maintenance. Overall, we would not choose to stay here again.
The staff came in our room without our permission while we were out to dinner and retrieve something that the previous tenantleft in the room
It is a very beautiful place
Our own little house! With a private balcony that overlooks a roaring stream that's so loud, you have to speak up to be heard. Would definitely stay here again.
My 2nd stay at this property and it was just as great as the first time. I would definitely recommend
Absolutely my favorite place to stay.
Cottages are nicely positioned and have private entrances, but outdated and could have been more thoroughly cleaned. Ours had water problems, smelled strongly of mildew, and during a rainstorm a large amount of water came in under the door. Instead of offering a different room, they had maintenance mop up the water and call it good. Our things got wet, no offer of rectification from management.
We love the charm of this property! So much better for us compared to other newer hotels and motels. Most units are on the brook and you can have a little camp fire. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else!
