Depuis notre arrivée à l’hôtel, nous avons eu de problèmes divers: manque de couvercle de la toilette, coffre de sécurité bloqué, coupure d’électricité et de l’eau dans la chambre non averti. Par contre, la réceptionniste a tout fait pour régler les inconvénients. Service très apprécié

Great location, Great Staff

A very good stay for a quick solo trip to Playa! The hotel was well-situated for my purpose of going there.
I would highly recommend that a bar fridge be placed in each room! It would hold water, juice and a few drinks.
No kitchen facilities are alright for a quick trip but water is a must.
I would use this place again if there was a small fridge in the room.

I found it to be a good hotel for the price. It definitely is not for the pickiest of guests, but a great staff that are helpful.

If I could give this hotel negative stars, I would. This was the most disgusting, dishonest, and disturbing hotel experience of my life.

False Advertising & Scam: The photos are a complete lie. The "cozy" room with a balcony was actually a tiny, airless space with a shattered, taped-up window facing a grimy elevator shaft. No fresh air, no natural light—just a suffocating nightmare.

Filthy & Unsanitary: The sheets had stains and hair, proving they hadn’t been washed. The pillows reeked of sweat and mildew. The bathroom was moldy, the shower barely functioned, and the towels smelled like garbage.

No Sleep Possible: The rooms are NOT soundproof. We heard everything from the lobby—people shouting, luggage rolling, phones ringing. Sleeping was impossible.

Scam Fees & Lies: We were hit with hidden charges, including a "street cleanup" fee and an extra guest fee, even though the booking clearly stated two people. The advertised restaurant doesn’t exist.

No Refund Despite Promises: Expedia promised a full refund due to the fraudulent listing, but after I left, they changed their stance. Now I’m out $900 for a hotel I didn’t even stay at. Avoid this scam at all costs.

This establishment is incredibly deceptive and has left me thoroughly disappointed. I stayed there for 14 days booked through Expedia, and I quickly learned that refunds or cancellations were not an option, which felt extremely unfair given the circumstances.

From the moment I arrived, I encountered issues, starting with the hot water situation. Not once during my stay did I experience a hot shower; each day, I was assured by the staff that they were "working on it," but the situation never improved. To make matters worse, I experienced a complete shutdown of the water supply without any prior notice while a water company was filling their tank, leaving me without basic amenities at the most inconvenient times.

Additionally, I observed them turning off the electricity during the day, which is quite frustrating when you have yours up the stairs.

I eventually switched rooms, and I can confirm that the reviews regarding the musty smell and the presence of mould were spot on. The second room I was given still had lingering odors and signs of neglect.

The pool area was nothing short of a stagnant swamp, and I found the deck boards to be splintered and hazardous to walk on, raising significant safety concerns.

Once again, the quest for even lukewarm water for a shower proved fruitless; I could only expect frigid, uncomfortable showers throughout my stay.

This place was not as described. The bed was the hardest I've ever slept on. It was incredibly noisy and not as clean or well maintained as I would have expected. The restaurant and outdoor seating was closed and unusable... The staff were mostly very nice and helpful and it's only 50 feet from 5th Avenue which was very convenient but also very noisy.

My King room had no closet or anywhere to hang my dresses and so when they moved me into a double bedroom which had a 12” narrow hanging area it was fine for 6 days but the 3rd drawer was hanging open & you couldn’t close the drawer to use it. Maintenance was suppose to come in the next day but no one ever came. I just avoided the use of the drawer. Toilet plugged up and you couldn’t flush it one morning but housekeeping fixed it while I stepped out shopping for a few hours. Otherwise I highly recommend putting in ALL the rooms a wardrobe cabinet or closet to hang clothes.
