It was great
Pros:

The ambience was great! Staff was professional!!!
Breakfast was very good. Plenty for everyone!

Cons:

Found a stain on the bed sheet… wasn’t the end of the world. Off on the corner….
Even though we set the ac to 61, never truly cooled down to that temp. But we weren’t there to hang out I the room all day

Very good hotel accomodation for the rate offering. Better than some Marriot chain hotels

I would stay there again.
Pros:

Location was very convenient to the Grant house and downtown district. Breakfast was included and was good, actually better than expected with hot items. The Irish pub on site had excellent food. The pork tenderloin was exceptional!

Pros:

We enjoyed everything it was a great place to stay great staff we were very impressed with the cleanliness.

Cons:

We didn't like the unsafe conditions in our restroom as senior citizens it's hard and dangerous to step over a tub without any grab bars to hold on to getting in and out also with assistance getting up from toilet.

Busy weekend in Galena and I was happy to get a room relatively close to downtown. Very good singer
Pros:

Relatively standard breakfast buffet, maybe a bit better than average. On two nights there was very good live music. The restaurant had a good Irish food.

Castle stay
Pros:

Fun place to satay with great history. Loved the pub and castle feel. Used pool and hot tub both days. Awesome. Loved just wandering looking at the decorations and Irish motif.

Special taste of Ireland in the Midwest
Pros:

located on the east side of the town. It has a van to help people in the afternoon and evening which helps for parking issues. It has a breakfast, pool and 24/7 tea and coffee. The Friday and Sat night music in the bar was a good alternative for a day full of walking in Galena.
