I liked the location and the food at the restaurant was great.
Shower tile could have been cleaner. The bed was made but the sheets were dis shoveled which made it somewhat uncomfortable.
Location was great
Getting checked into the wrong room. Key card not allowing us out of parking deck. No one refilling the body wash. Tv, not working properly.
Size of the room...
I didn't like that my room was dirty...40 for parking but no security.. Asked to speak to a manager but of course no on was there and they didn't have a card to give me...
The hotel and rooms were as stated or looked when we booked. What you see on the website is really what you get which is a good thing. Spacious, comfy, nice room with all necessary facilities. And really good location.
However, the downs were more than the good. Most times there aren’t a lot of receptionist when you check in or at the front desk and that creates a queue. Also, the reception staff (Jeanie in particular - the duty manager) was particularly horrible and hostile. I am appalled that someone like that can be the manager. She was even telling the nicer receptionists not to attend to us well ie, not give us water (eventhough we never had the courtesy daily drinks we were entitled to at the bar). She was just not nice from Day 1. However, there was a particular receptionist, Lazarus who was so kind from Day 1 until we left. I definitely want to commend his kindness and exceptional service provided by him.
Another downside of this hotel is that, there isn’t just enough breakfast neither is there varieties of things to eat. Coming from England, I will rate breakfast at this hotel 10%. There isn’t enough staff especially when the hotel got busier, they were running Helter-skelter to meet up, highly disorganised and breakfast exceptionally poor. The kitchen lady who was meant to serve fresh fried egg on the spot even shouted on my kids out of frustration! Never seen anything like it before and I have been to several places.
And lastly, the swimming pool looked like something that haven’t been used in years, the water was cloudy and I couldn’t bring my kids to swim in that kind of water. The card key system for the gym entry also didn’t work initially but did in the end but we also kept going back to the reception to reactivate the card.
Overall, the downs were more than the good for this hotel and I am not one to complain. Apart from the room not sure there was anything good about it to be honest. I just hope the staff change and help this nicely located hotel still stay in business!
This was my 3rd or 4th stay and I really loved how Embassy made my stay feel personal by having “Welcome Jonia” on the tv screen in the room. The room was very clean including the towelettes, bedding, and the bathroom. I always enjoy the included free drinks during happy hour during every stay.
I didn’t like that I had to pay $40 for parking on their property because I’ve stayed at the Embassy by the airport in Georgia and I’ve stayed at the Embassy in Orlando, FL and both had free parking on their property.
Happy hour- only one bartebdar
I spent a weekend in Atlanta for work (traveling by myself) and the Embassy Suites in midtown was a great choice! Close to so many good restaurants, a nice atmosphere, and safe. The room was clean and spacious and the staff could not have been friendlier (from front desk to office staff). Thank you!
We are a school group that has stayed at Embassy Suites Hilton Atlanta Midtown for the last 4 years. Every year is a wonderful experience . Highly recommend using them for a large group or personal stay!
Beautiful property. Great beigh orhood near good restaurants and activities.
Front desk staff was amazing.
Woman working breakfast buffet didn't seem very friendly or accommodating. Only complaint with the facilities were the elevators were incredibly slow and they seem to be going up and down between floors in an inconsistent manner
