Probably one of the best Ashford hotels. So spacious lobby and dining area. Our room seemed to be a cut above the norm. Comfortable bed and all the small conveniences one would expect.
Car park charge seemed a little steep since parking in the town public car park is free from 3pm. However because of the hotel's location,effectively there is no choice. Also it didn't appear to be any more secure. The breakfast hasn't kept up with current health trends but it was inclusive and once in a while probably won't do you much harm
It would be difficult to find fault with the hotel's location or facilities which suited our requirements in almost every way. The breakfast offering was simply superb.
We were disappointed that the evening meal menu was extremely limited to either pizzas or curry/chilli and the quality of what was served was poor. This resulted us going across the road to eat for our 2nd and 3rd nights.
The car parking charge of £12.50 per night is high and especially so when we were told that there was no reduction for being a blue badge holder.
