Convenient location and simple accommodations
Pros:

Shonda was a big help at the front desk. She explained the check-in process when I called for information, she was thorough in explaining rules and consequences when checking in, and she was very nice when I checked out. The location was very convenient to UNF for our son's sports events. Several food places were within walking distance, and less than a mile away was a lovely big park. The beaches were also within 20-25 minutes. The room was clean and our bed was comfortable. We did not use the kitchenette, but it was a nice plus in the room. There was a Keurig in the lobby, available for all to use.

Cons:

The smell of marijuana was apparent, but not in my room-just in the exterior hallway. And it may not have been strong to some, but I just have a sensitive nose. There was a dog walk, but no poop bags. The parking lot and grassy area had some food trash that people discarded.

The beds! For the first time ever, a hotel had a bed that wasn’t hard as brick. I spine issues and I rarely sleep when we are away bc of that.

Cons:

We had no running hot water for a shower! None! Zip! Also I understand the electronic doers lock for safety, but my god are they a pain in the rear, and god forbid you have a problem and it past 10pm, your screwed otherwise! Get an overnight crew!

Close to Mayo Clinic

Cons:

No hot water for shower. The hallway was very noisy people playing loud music slamming doors arguing in hallway some left food thrown all over the hallway I would never recommend or return to this facility

Stay was fine. Thanks to the young man at the front desk with curly hair.

I didn’t get the room I INTENTIONALLY BOOKED…. I liked the front desk staff that worked with me and helped me out. It was a younger light skin guy with curly hair. He helped me. H the way I’m the women with the husband, baby and chihuahua, that came and stayed to escape from the winter storm in nc. If you describe it to him this way he will remember me. By the way guy, thank you for your kindness, consideration, leadership, and problem solving!!! That’s definitely the person I’d rather speak to when I ask to “speak to a manager” thanks so much for your help young man. I hope this company SEES you and promotes you you deserve it.
