I didn’t like it very much because of all of these issues.

The bathroom was clogged, and we reported it. Instead of fixing the problem or sending someone to repair it, we were only given a product to unclog it ourselves. The bathroom should have been working properly, or at the very least, someone should have been sent to fix it.

The beds were also in very poor condition—you could clearly feel the springs through the mattresses.

On top of that, they were charging $799 for a single Saturday night (June 18). In my opinion, that price is completely unreasonable for the condition of the room and the service provided.

An amazing hotel that made our short stay comfortable and easy.
Pros:

Breakfast was awesome and coffee was perfect!!! Beds were super comfy and location was absolutely perfect for what we came to do!! Asia was so nice and friendly the night we arrived.

Cons:

Saturday when we got back from being in NYC all day we had to use the restroom super bad!! I went into the lobby restroom before going up to our room and all the stalls were clogged, the bathroom stunk and it was a mess!!! I was very disappointed. The ice machine going out on the 4th floor was inconvenient but we made due with the one by the lobby.

Disappointing
Cons:

So basically I paid double the price because it was a World Cup day and just when I arrived, they informed me because it was a public holiday there was gonna be no cleaning the room, but that information was not available anywhere during the reservation procedure and obviously being a hotel makes absolutely no sense so the room was not cleaned and I think this is not something acceptable

Don't stay for Metlife Events
Pros:

Stayed here for the June 22 FIFA World Cup match at MetLife Stadium. The hotel itself was clean, the staff was friendly, and the rooms met our expectations.

The major issue was transportation. Although the hotel is close to MetLife Stadium, guests cannot legally walk there due to the lack of pedestrian access. The hotel charged over $400 for event parking, and guests were directed to use a third-party shuttle service that charged about $85 per person.

Getting to the stadium was fine, but after the match the return transportation completely broke down. When we areeived there were two shuttle vans already full. Then we aited for an hour in rain, calls to the shuttle company went unanswered, and we eventually had to pay for an expensive taxi back to the hotel.

What was disappointing was seeing nearby hotels with staff coordinating guests onto dedicated hotel shuttles while SpringHill Suites guests were left without any assistance or communication that is inspite of paying with an arm and a leg for parking and shuttle.

If this hotel is going to charge premium event parking rates and recommend a shuttle service for major events, it should ensure that transportation is reliable or have a backup plan. I hope management addresses this before future events at MetLife Stadium.
