Sehr gute Lage, direkt in Shimokitazawa aber dennoch ruhig. Nur 3 Minuten zu Fuß von der nächsten Haltestelle entfernt.
Freundliches Personal.
Es gibt kein Frühstück, aber ein Café im Haus, welches guten Kaffee und Bagels hat.

Cons:

Ein paar mehr Kleiderbügel, Haken oder Ablagefläche für Kleidung wäre nett.

modern hotel in a cool area, room was pretty clean and good sized plus comfy bed. Some staff members were helpful and friendly

Cons:

I think it’s overpriced for the overall experience. One thing I didn’t particularly enjoy was that some staff spoke very limited English. I understand that tools like Google Translate can help, but when I had an allergic reaction and went to reception asking if they had antihistamines or where the nearest pharmacy was, the staff member wasn’t able to explain or respond clearly. It made the situation more stressful while I was already panicking. I did find the pharmacy in the end, and of course it wasn’t his fault, but being able to communicate in English would have been much more helpful in that moment.

It was wonderful, we miss it already. Would stay here again and again.
Pros:

The location is incredible and the coffee shop and bagels made for a glorious stay.

Cons:

Nothing, it was perfect for what we needed. It was a bit small but that was to be expected coming from American. Turns out, you don’t need much space when you’re out exploring all day anyway. We had a great stay. Zero complaints.

Great stay!
Pros:

I really enjoyed my stay. The location is excellent, and having both a café and a bar inside the hotel is a huge bonus. The staff were super friendly, and I had an incredible night at the bar listening to vinyl records. Highly recommended.

Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet. Lebhaftes Viertel ,viele nette Restaurants und Geschäfte.Banhöfe gleich in der Nähe zu Fuß erreichbar.

Amazing, hipster vibes in a perfect location.
Pros:

The facilities are amazing, it’s modern, clean and hipster. Love the vibe of the coffee shop and the bar. Also love the records to rent and record player in the room (although the sound quality is fairly poor, it’s a nice touch!). The daily breakfast was also 10/10

Comfortable, good value, great neighborhood.
Pros:

As a solo traveler focused on discovering Tokyo for the first time, and wanting a quiet / local neighborhood feel, Mustard Hotel was the perfect option in Shimokitazawa. The location was beyond amazing, and the hotel was very tidy, clean, and cozy for the incredibly low price. I felt comfortable during my stay here. It was a good base for Tokyo.
