Clean and well located, did the job for what it was needed for. Overcharged for second room
Pros:

Good location close to the centre. Rooms were clean and staff available on the front desk 24 hours. Nothing special but did the job we needed it for... somewhere to get our heads down whilst travelling.

Cons:

Due to an issue with our party, after the first night, I had to book an additional room for one night at a cost of £90. I then needed to extend this second booking by a further night, which resulted in additional unexpected costs that I had not anticipated prior to my trip.

Given that I had already paid over £200 for the initial room, plus £90 for the additional room, I kindly asked whether any form of discount or consideration could be offered for the extension. Unfortunately, my request was declined and I was charged the full rate, which was disappointing.

Toilet drainage in additional room smelled, although this wasn't an issue in the first room.

Für meine Notfall-Situation (Chaos bei der Bahn) war ich wunderbar für diese Nacht aufgehoben.
Pros:

Das Hotel ist 5-Minuten Fußweg hinter dem Bahnhof. Und obwohl es zwischen einer Straße und an dem Mainzer Bahnhof liegt, war es sehr ruhig. Schön ist, dass die Rezeption rund um die Uhr besetzt ist, auch wenn das für mich gar nicht notwendig war.

Cons:

Von den B&B-Hotels in Spanien und Portugal bin ich gewöhnt, dass es riesengroßes Duschhandtuch bereit liegt. Dieses Angebot scheint es in Deutschland nicht zu geben. Außerdem haben die Handtücher keine Schlaufen, man kann sie daher nicht an den vorhandenen Haken aufhängen.

Die Lage des Hotels ist gut

Cons:

Wir übernachten bereits zum zweiten Mal in diesem Hotel, leider wird es immer schmutziger. Die Toilette roch unangenehm, und man sieht, dass sie nicht richtig gereinigt wird. Am Wochenende ist es sehr laut; leider hatten wir Pech mit den Nachbarn, sodass wir nachts nicht wirklich ausruhen konnten. Das Hotel ist seinen Preis nicht wert.

Günstiges Hotel in toller Lage
Pros:

Das Hotel liegt nah am Hauptbahnhof und ist dadurch gut erreichbar. Meine Tasche konnte ich vor Check-in bereits abgeben und das Personal war sehr freundlich dabei. Das Zimmer ist für den Preis wirklich völlig in Ordnung und sauber. Es gab ausreichend Handtücher, was leider nicht in jedem Hotel der Fall ist.

Cons:

Ich werde leider nie verstehen, warum es in B&B Hotels keine Mülleimer im Zimmer gibt, sondern nur den Kosmetikeimer im Bad. Vermisse ich jedes mal aufs neue.
