Great service. Knowing it’s my parents’ 77th birthday, the staff presented a fruit plate given we checked in late and bakery is closed that they couldn’t present a cake. Very much appreciated the ease of checking in and out and nice amenities.
As expected nothing short of being “Marriott” as I commented to a fellow colleague that it seemed that all Marriott hotels are done up the same way.
I liked the fact that the breakfast is served on the top floor offering a great view of the city and yet it is spacious that one doesn’t smell like a fried egg eating there .
The only feedback would be that the housekeeping can be a little more thorough as I was given a suite room but yet they didn’t clear all the bins with a leftover banana skin lying in the bin

I am writing to express my concern about a recent issue with my reservation. Due to a typhoon, my flight was canceled and rescheduled for a day later. I contacted both the hotel and Expedia to modify my arrival date, but upon arrival, the manager, Amanda Tang, informed me that my reservation was voided due to a no-show.
I was told that the hotel was fully booked and was given no option but to pay the full price for the original reservation to secure a room. Given the circumstances and my prior attempts to amend the reservation, this situation feels unfair and stressful.
Could you please review this situation and assist in resolving this issue? I would appreciate any adjustments or compensation you can offer.

The hotel required a deposit of 500 RMB, but has not refunded the deposit, affter almost 48 hours of checking out! Not a good practice.
