Noisy hotel and not great service
Pros:

Location in town. Very walkable

Cons:

Very noisy hotel, elevators painfully slow. So many kids running around property and nothing was done to control noise or the large amount of kids running hallways and through lobby. Never got room service and paid way too much for the room for a two night stay.

Clean, comfortable room in downtown State College.
Pros:

Spacious room with a real kitchen (small full size fridge, two-burner stove, microwave, toaster, sink). No on-site parking, but a parking pass for a parking garage across the street. Nice shower in a roomy bathroom. Right downtown.

Cons:

No on-site parking, and no free parking, but a pass for a parking garage across the street made for easy in-and-out parking. Not much counter space in the bathroom, so we kept our toiletries on the kitchen counter. We ran out of bath gel in the shower.

Pathetic unloading area used by hotel workers
Pros:

1 handicap spot to load and unload temporary spot for 5 minutes. Can’t use in the morning because a hotel employee uses the spot

Great location, but loud noise from trash removal in the morning
Pros:

Great location, but the loud trash removal on Friday and Saturday am sucks!!!! I figured it was a one day thing but great Saturday am same…i now understand why there is a sound machine in room.
Clean room, great amenities, fantastic location, but I’m not sure if I could stay here again with the trash removal being so loud. Six dumpsters lifted and then slammed on the ground way early in the morning not just once a week.

Perfect location and beautiful rooms
Pros:

Hotel was very clean and updated. They easily accommodated our request of early check-in and late check out. Location is central to downtown State College making it easy to explore the town. We will definitely be back.
